Opera Blog - thoughts on the trot

OK...some more thoughts...
* This a lot easier to use than Blogger
* I generally like Opera stuff better than Google stuff (Yeah... I know they don't compete directly, but..) (But..I suppose Opera M2 competes with GMail and Opera Blog with Blogger)
* The size limit of 300mb. OK I guess...but Blogger is unlimited as far as I can tell.
* Blogger can be open to all to comment/interact, whereas, with Opera Blog, it seems your 'friends' have to be - or become - members of the Opera community? No big deal I guess, but the people I most want to interact with - a small handful - or mostly NOT Opera users...
*So, why would I want to associate with non-Opera users anyway!!??
Well, Christians are sometimes accused of developing a 'Christian ghetto' mentality - ie wanting just to associate with other Christians...and there may be some truth to this ...and its even understandable..(we tend to gravitate to like-minded people). But, maybe humans are just tribal in general ( we tend to gravitate to certain groups...) This may be true of the Opera Community?? Not that this is necessarily bad... it just can be.
So, what does this have to do with Opera Blog?? Well, it maybe shows the good and not so good aspects of the Opera tribe: healthy/good communication, sharing etc...but a degree of exclusion of 'outsiders'... The friends you invite have to become members it seems..(unless I have misread it).
Time for some fresh air and sunshine methinks..
