I’ve been thinking all day.
I’ve been walking in the streets and saw a pretty familiar face – one of my ex-ex-ex-ex-ex teacher from elementary school. Didn’t see her in like 5 months – so I greeted her – and for my biggest surprise she just moved over and didn’t react.
I was like: -excuse me?
You know she’s been a really good teacher and she was the only one who at least had a really small idea about things what normally nobody would have known of me.
My appearance didn’t change in the last 12 years (except my hair coz a lot of it fell out – LOL) mostly because for me it is kinda impossible – And she was like my best friend – and now she just walks away?
You know this offended me to a really deep level. Even though I know that probably we wouldn’t of talked for more than 5 minutes would it be so fucking hard to at least greet me?
Sigh.
This is funny you know – because everybody who knows me knows that I’m allergic to this kind of behavior.
You know even if I don’t like somebody – or somebody doesn’t like me – have to “use” the very basic thing called respect – which is greeting the other.
Probably there are a lot of ppl who are like: “Why should I even look at somebody who I hate?”
Because if you don’t you aren’t different than the person you hate.
“Love your friends, respect your enemies” – words which lost their meaning in these modern times.
We are not animals for God sakes!
Or are we?
Can’t you just stop behaving like some kind of weird animals?
Why it is so hard to understand that it is totally pointless to behave that way?
Even if you hate somebody, even if that person pushed you into serious trouble you SHOULD respect him/her to at least the basic level.
I don’t say that you have to be friends – you have to R E S P E C T each other.
Why is it so hard to ppl to give their seats to the elder? Or to the pregnant?
Is it so fucking hard to a 19 year old “kid” to at least offer his/her seat? And why are ppl looking at me like I’d be a fucking alien when I do so? Even when I stood in the fucking line for 5 hours – even when I felt that if I more my legs will brake into 2 parts I gave my seat to an elder.
Why?
Because we MUST respect each other and we have to understand that there are always ppl who have greater needs than we do.
Just think about it? How would you feel if you would be over 60 and a 20 year old wouldn’t even think about that he/she SHOULD give their seats? How would you feel when a bus driver would have to use motor-brake and you’d land on the windscreen?
(Apparently I was the witness of that and had a really had time grabbing a “pipe” – but at least we didn’t have an accident and there were ppl who could grab each other-the poor old lady was ok too – thank God)
But of course everybody thinks that he/she is the king/queen – as long as their stupidity and ignorance doesn’t lead to somebody’s death.
There is only a really really really small exception – but will they save the world? I doubt – and that is why the world exists in its current way…
Where are we going?
