Opera.com seems the best place to put this

I've always wanted a remote for iTunes. I've used my BlueTooth phone, but it drops the connection a few feet out of the room which houses the machine that iTunes is on. I've also tried several Remote Apple Events remotes from an iBook and a couple of web based remotes (these script are loosely based on the one from High Earth Orbit and Art to Desktop from Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes ? Managing Artwork). I've been putting off buying the Express Remote from Keyspan (Keyspan | Express Remote) because I already have an older version of the same funky, awkward remote, though it doesn't work with the AirPort Express.
Then along comes Opera for the Nintendo DS (DS).
Though I've personally yet to use it, I've begun testing a web based remote built to fit the screens of the DS.

No where near finished and still untested on the DS, it is not yet ready for release into the wild.
Requirements are:
That's it?
In a nutshell, yes. BUT, due to the nature of the chain of interaction between the end user and iTunes, this package will NOT be recommended for use on machines not behind a router with TCP port(s) 80, 427, 443 closed to it.
to dos:
Alpha version should be forthcoming.

to dos:
- Preferences (COOKIE) - Whether to show the lists below and whether to recycle the same image or build a folder full. The folder method should prove quicker to load, but will eat up around 1MB per dozen songs artwork.
- Playlist list
- Tracklist - Most likely limited to a couple hundred entries. This is what Remote Apple Events remotes do. I'm guessing there's a reason.
- iTunes track sorting
- iTunes EQ selecting
- iTunes to AirTunes - After scouring the web for a couple of minutes it seems this isn't as easy as it should be.
Alpha version should be forthcoming.
