Every Friday afternoon, after the Jumma prayers, the Imam and
his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out **"PATH
TO PARADISE"** and other Islamic literature.
This particular and fortunate Friday afternoon, as the time came for the
Imam and his son to go to the streets with their booklets, it was very
cold outside, as well as pouring rain.
The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, 'OK, dad,
I'm ready!'
His dad asked, 'Ready for what' 'Dad, it's time we go out and distribute
these Islamic books.'
Dad responds, 'Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring rain.'
The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, 'But Dad, aren't people
still going to hell, even though it's raining?'
Dad answers, 'Son, I am not going out in this weather.'
Despondently, the boy asks, 'Dad, can I go Please'
His father hesitated for a moment then said, 'Son, you can go. Here are the
booklets. Be careful son.'
'Thanks, Dad!'
And with that, he was off and out into the rain. This eleven year old boy
walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he
met in the street a pamphlet or a booklet.
After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet
and down to his VERY LAST BOOKLET. He stopped on a corner and looked for
someone to hand a booklet to, but the streets were totally deserted.
Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to
the front door and rang the door bell. He rang the bell, but nobody
answered..
He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still
no answer.
Finally, he turned to leave, but something stopped him.* *** Again, he
turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with
his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch!
He rang again and this time the door slowly opened.
Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady. She softly
asked, 'What can I do for you, son?' With radiant eyes and a smile that
lit up her world, this little boy said, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed
you, but I just want to tell you that ALLAH REALLY LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU
and I came to give you my very last booklet which will tell you all about
God, the real purpose of creation, and how to achieve His pleasure.'
With that, he handed her his last booklet and turned to leave.
She called to him as he departed. 'Thank you, son! And God Bless You!'
Next week on Friday afternoon after Jumma prayers, the Imam was giving
some lectures. As he concludes the lectures, he asked, 'Does anybody have
questions or want to say anything?'
Slowly, in the back row among the ladies, an elderly lady's voice was heard
over the speaker. * *** 'No one in this gathering knows me. I've never
been here before. You see, before last Friday I was not a Muslim, and
thought I could be. My husband died few years ago, leaving me totally alone
in this world.. Last Friday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, i was
contemplating suicide as i had no hope left.
So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my
home.. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof then stood on
the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing
on that chair, so lonely and broken-hearted I was about to leap off, when
suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me. I thought,
I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.
I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more
insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly....
I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings
my bell or comes to see me.' I loosened the rope from my neck and started
for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder.
When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there
on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever
seen in my life. His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you! The words
that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead TO LEAP TO
LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, 'Ma'am, I just came to tell
you that ALLAH REALLY LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU!'
** Then he gave me** this booklet, Path To Paradise that I now hold in my
hand.
As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed
my door and read slowly every word of this book. Then I went up to my
attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more.
You see? I am now a Happy Vicegerent of the One True God. Since the address
of your congregation was stamped on the back of this booklet, I have come
here to personally say THANK YOU to God's little angel who came just in the
nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell.'
There was not a dry eye in the mosque. The shouts of TAKBIR...ALLAHUAKBAR..
rented the air.
Imam-Dad descended from the pulpit to the front row where the little angel
was seated....
He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.
Probably no jama'at has had a more glorious moment, and probably this
universe has never seen a father that was more filled with love and honor
for his son... Except for One. This very one...

Eraser: For what? You didn't
do anything wrong.
Pencil: I'm sorry cos you get
hurt bcos of me. Whenever
I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But
as you make my mistakes
vanish, you lose a part of
yourself. You get smaller
and smaller each time.
Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I
was made to do this. I was
made to help you
whenever you do
something wrong. Even
though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace
me with a new one, I'm
actually happy with my job.
So please, stop worrying. I
hate seeing you sad.
I found this conversationbetween the pencil and the
eraser very inspirational.
Parents are like the eraser
whereas their children are
the pencil. They're always there for their children,
cleaning up their mistakes.
Sometimes along the way...
they get hurt, and become
smaller (older, and
eventually pass on). Though their children will
eventually find someone
new (spouse), but parents
are still happy with what
they do for their children,
and will always hate seeing their precious ones
worrying, or sad. "All my life, I've been the
pencil.. And it pains me to
see the eraser that is my
parents getting smaller and
smaller each day. For I know that one day, all
that I'm left with would be
eraser shavings and
memories of what I used to
have...
" This is to all the parents out
there...
Love You.
Every one should respect other's love.

One day the boy proposed
her.
Then the girl said, "listen!
your
monthly salary is my daily hand
expenses. Should I be
involved
with you? How could you
thought
that? I will never love you. So,
forget me 'n get engaged
with
someone else of your level."
But somehow the boy could
not forget her so easily.
10 years later.
One day they became face
to face
in a shopping center. The
lady said, "Hey! you! How are
you?
Now I'm married. Do you
know
how much is my husband's
salary? Rs. 2 lac per month! Can
you imagine? 'n he is also
very
smart."
The guy's eyes got wet
with tear by hearing those words.
After few minutes her
husband
came before the lady could
say
something to the guy, her husband started to say by
seeing
the guy.
"Sir! You here? Meet my
wife."
Then he said to her wife, "I'm
going to assist a project of
sir,
which is of Rs. 200 crore. 'n
do u
know a fact? Sir loved a girl but he
didn't get her. That's why
still he
is unmarried. How much
lucky the
girl was. Isn't it? Now a days who
can love like that way?"
Moral: Life is not so short.
So,
don't be so proud of
yourself and damn others. Situations
change
with time. Every one should
respect other's love.

The dates are closer than they appear
In this article
I would like
to talk about few tips related to preparation for our theory papers. But most of u”ll say that what we all are doing from the day we were born da. But had u ever thought that u studied the same as your friend did and he/she got better marks than you. Well you just blame it on your
luck that what all he studied came in exams and what u did didn’t or his handwriting is good so he gets more marks than me for same content. Actually blaming someone else for your failure will always make u failure for whole life. Take one minute out of your busy schedule [very busy ] and just think that what and how u studied was enough for exam preparation?? Now sometimes smart study does trick for few whereas for others it may not. These few observations I made during my last 4 semester exams are If you seriously analyse previous five years question, u”ll see that from each unit a particular topic is asked in Dec/Jan and from other topic in June/July. This way u can put extra effort on certain topics at last moment to have an extra edge. Few students are comfortable with whole night study and they can stay alive even after not sleeping for two days. Please Please Please, others who can’t don’t compare or try to follow them. Live example is me who remained awake on 2 nights and studied something but 3rd day slept for 15 hrs.So make a small time table that by around this time u have to sleep and get up by this time u
have to get up bcos u need atleast 6 hrs of sleep to reboot. Just observe one day that how much u studied in two hours just after good sleep will be equal to four hour study(where two hours come from your sleeping hours). Always take light diet to last long in front of study table. And for backup always keep engineer’s ration (MAGGI) ready in ur cupboard to fill your tummy. Even today what we study generally forget while or before exams. The best way to
tackle this is to write small points about what u actually learnt after just u finished ur studies.By doing this u are transferring most part of DATA from your RAM to ROM for later use. Take small breaks between your study otherwise u”ll make kichdi of what all u studied.Listen light music or move around in your room or talk on any topics out of syllabus with friend to realx. These are the few points which I think will be useful to u always
just a lesson to beknown to all...

BUDDHA’S LESSON ON WASTING
A disciple of Buddha, said, “Oh Master! I have a request to make.”
Buddha: “What is it; tell me?”
Disciple: “My robe is worn out. It is no longer decent enough to wear. Please, may I have a new one?”
Buddha looked at the disciple’s attire and found that the garment was absolutely in tatters and really needed replacement. So he asked the store-keeper to give a new robe to this disciple. The disciple offered obeisance to the great master and left the room.
Buddha kept thinking about the incident and felt that He had perhaps missed an opportunity to teach a valuable lesson to the disciple. So he went to the disciple’s quarters to talk to him.
Buddha: Are you comfortable in your new robe? Do you need anything else?
Disciple: Thank you Master. I am very comfortable and do not need anything else.
Buddha: Now that you have a new one, what have you done with the old one?
Disciple: I have used it to replace my worn out bedspread.
Buddha: What did you do with the old bedspread?
Disciple: Master, I am using it as a curtain on my window.
Buddha: Did you discard your old window curtain?
Disciple: Master, I tore it into four pieces and am using them as napkins to handle the hot pots and pans in the kitchen.
Buddha: What about the old kitchen napkins?
Disciple: We are using them as mops to wash and wipe the floor.
Buddha: Where is the old mop?
Disciple: Lord, the old mop was so tattered that the best we could do was to take all the threads apart and make wicks for your oil lamp. One of them is presently lit in your room.”
Buddha was content. He was happy that His disciples realized that nothing is useless. We can find a use for everything, if only we want to! Nothing should be wasted; not even time!
If all of us were to practice the habit of thrift, we can preserve the non renewable resources for our children, our grandchildren and our great grand children as our forefathers so thoughtfully did for us. Let us vow together to leave at least one monument for our children the Earth!

WOMEN'S CRY..
Sunday, September 11, 2011 9:15:07 PM
Watching her eyes..
A little boy asked his mother,
"Why are you crying?"
"Because I'm a woman," she told
him.
...
"I don't understand," he said.
His Mom just hugged him and said,
"And you never will."
Later the little boy asked his father,
"Why does mother seem to cry for
no reason?"
"All women cry for no reason,"
was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a
man,
still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to GOD.
When GOD got on the phone,
he asked,
"God, why do women cry so
easily?"
God said:
"When I made the woman she had
to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough
to carry the weight of the world,
yet gentle enough to give comfort.
I gave her an inner strength to
endure childbirth and the rejection
that many times comes from her
children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her
to keep going when everyone else
gives up,
and take care of her family through
sickness and fatigue without
complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her
children under any and all
circumstances,
even when her child has hurt her
very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her
husband through his faults and
fashioned her from his rib to protect
his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a
good husband never hurts his wife,
but sometimes tests her strengths
and her resolve to stand beside him
unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed.
This is her`s exclusively to use
whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God,
"the beauty of a woman is not in the
clothes she wears,
the figure that she carries,
or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be
seen in her "eyes",
because that is the doorway to her
heart - the place where love resides."
