Loretta Lynn's Haunted Mansion
Sunday, June 28, 2009 9:07:05 PM
I am not a Country Music Fan, but when I watched the movie, Coal Miner’s Daughter, I became a fan of Loretta Lynn. I initially watched this movie because I love Tommy Lee Jones.
Loretta did a television special called Loretta Lynn’s Haunted mansion. In this special I learned that she owned the town of Hurricane Mills, TN. Loretta Lynn believes her town is haunted by the Anderson family that lived in the mansion many years ago. She described incidents in which she, her family, people who work for her, and guests to her town experienced being haunted by the Anderson family.
A couple of weeks ago, a friend and I visited Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. We did not experience being haunted while we were at the ranch, but when I looked at the pictures I took, some really weird things appeared in at least one of them. I do not know if it is the sun, the angle, or…a haunting (I don’t believe in ghosts!), but something is definitely wrong with this picture.
I have used this camera in all kinds of lighting in many different places, and nothing like this has ever occurred. You be the judge…haunted or not…

The thing is now the crime scene ... Err, ghost scene has been compromised. Now Annette doesn't remember with 100% certainty whether she did or didn't take any Pics from inside the bus. We'd have to put her under hypnosis and have her recall for sure.
Look into my eyes, Annette ---
You're getting sleepy ... sleepy ... sleepy
Uh Oh! I overdid it. She really fell asleep.
Now how am I supposed to interrogate her?

We spent the whole day listening to ghost stories and hauntings in the town of Hurricane Mills, so when I saw something unusual in this pic, GHOST was what naturally came to my small, easily infulenced mind.

DO you have Photoshop? Because I found out how to easily make any image Transparent on Photoshop. I installed it and started messing with it recently. I got my Photoshop 6.0 book that I already had. I looked up Transparency in the index and quickly found what I had been wanting for the longest time. You just use the Magic Eraser.
Okay, so sometimes, depending on the image, optimum results won't be possible. That'll happen if something on the edge of the image is way too close to the same color as the Background that you're making transparent. I found that out on the original High Heel image in Agneta's Blog Header that I was trying to make transparent. The heel on one of the shoes was too light grey and thus, too close to the surrounding WHITE Background. As hard as I tried and as careful as I was, the heel just kept getting wiped out too instead of just the surrounding white.
So, if you don't have Photoshop and need an image made transparent, just let me know.

But, recently that I was REALLY wanting to start utilizing Transparency in images, Layers and whatever other Design Goodies I could discover, I decided to dust off my Photoshop and give it another whirl. The 2nd time was the charm. And I haven't even gotten to read the book and experiment yet. I'll really be dangerous then.

When I originally posted this picture, the pair of floating legs you pointed out on the left of the barn roof is one of the things that caught my attention. Also, there appeared to be some sort of smoke coming from the two windows at the point of the barn.
Of course, I had not noticed the face in the doorway above the wooden gate that Graham pointed out
