I'm in my cell rite now, and i tried it and it didn't work..
Maybe when i got home i'll try with my PC..

SummerAngel 23. August 2009, 12:26

It should work on your PC. Hope you like it and decide to create your own. I found this on Linda's blog and decided to play with it.

Suntana 23. August 2009, 15:18

Shaggy? I have never heard of this Shaggy.

But, I am absolutely shocked that is is above 2 Elvis songs! :yikes:

Guns n Roses? :eyes: Why you Wild Thing, you! Oh, I see Wild Thing is on there. I actually first heard Wild Thing in Spanish before I ever knew there was an English version. The same thing with Devil with the Blue Dress. Back when we were growing up, there was this Mexican Group called Los Rockin' Devils. They would do Covers of some of the English Hits of the time. Are the Troggs the original artists who played Wild Thing? Didn't I read the other day that Elvis also performed Wild Thing?

Born to Be Wild always reminds me of a particular Long John Silver's at which I used to eat. They had a Juke Box there where you could select songs for free. I always wound up playing Born to Be Wild. Another one I also always played there was Magic Carpet Ride.

SummerAngel 23. August 2009, 19:05

 It Wasn't Me  (another Shaggy song). Imsgine that...a die hard Elvis fan chosing reggae over rock. What's up with that??? I love this song. I hope you have the opportunity to hear it sometime. If/when you do, let me know what you think.

Yes, I am also a Guns n Roses fan. Axl Rose is a Wild Thing! I think The Wild Ones originally recorded Wild Thing, but The Troggs sing it MUCH better. I can't recall Elvis ever singing Wild Thing, but they are always coming up with "lost" recordings. I think it is a timeless song and one everyone can relate to at some point in their life.

Awww Shucks...I was hoping Born to Be Wild would remind you of ME the Wild Thing.

Suntana 23. August 2009, 22:56

Uh Oh! Screwup Alert! :o:
Apparently it wasn't Elvis who also sang Wild Thing. I knew I hadn't actually heard this other source of Wild Thing. I had just come across it on some Lyrics site. But, I kept trying to think of how I wound up looking at the Wild Thing lyrics. So, to settle my curiosity, I went and Googled Wild Thing lyrics.

Ahhh! It wasn't Elvis.
It was Jimi Hendrix. So, it was when Peppermint and I had been debating about Jimi Hendrix over on Darko's Post about Blues.

Suntana 23. August 2009, 23:01

You need to change your Blog's title to Wild Thing's Beach, Annette. Born to Be Wild also reminds me of Arnold Schwarzenegger in that scene in Terminator.

Hmmm? Wait a minute.
Wild Thing ... Is THAT perhaps that elusive nickname?

SummerAngel 23. August 2009, 23:30

I am Southern Sunny...that would be Wild Thang. Wild Thing would be much better than the elusive nickname. p:

Suntana 24. August 2009, 02:04

Oops! Why of course, it would be Wild Thang. :headbang:

SummerAngel 24. August 2009, 17:04

 Wild Thangs Beach it is...trouble is, I can't remember what font I used for Summer Angel's Beach. :irked:

Suntana 24. August 2009, 19:54

I don't know if you're referring to your current font or the original font that was used in that MS WordArt version of your title. If you're referring to the latter, that was Cooper Black. Ooooooo! Is there gonna be some :left: :right: P-I-N-K involved? :D

Suntana 24. August 2009, 19:55

Heyyy! I see a PINK Starfish in your New Comment Box! :D

SummerAngel 24. August 2009, 21:20

I was referring to my current font.

Suntana 24. August 2009, 23:26

You don't have the original Template, the one on which you did your work before saving it in the particular image format for use on your Blog?

SummerAngel 25. August 2009, 17:54

Yes, but I added the font in MS Digital Image Editor and now I can't seem to find that font. Too many choices...maybe I will find it in there someday.

Suntana 25. August 2009, 19:34

Uh Oh! I messed up again. I had said Born to Be Wild reminded me of that scene in Terminator where Arnold gets on the Bike and puts on the sunglasses. I kept thinking about that and finally asked someone else and they confirmed it. It is NOT Born to Be Wild that is played in that scene. It is Bad to the Bone. Homer: Doh! :D

Okay, well at least I do have it right that I did always play Born to Be Wild and Magic Carpet Ride at that Long John Silver's juke box.

SummerAngel 26. August 2009, 00:40

I like Bad to the Bone, but not as much as Wild Thing. The Terminator is part of one of the shows at Universal Studios. We were in an auditorium watching excerpts of Terminator when Bad to the Bone starts playing and an Arnold look-alike rides in on a motorcycle and picks up a Linda Hamilton look-alike and they pop a wheelie and ride off...

hughchips2006 27. August 2009, 11:44

Ow, won't your fish bite me? :D
I like Seasons in the sun by Terry Jacks, too. It has been my favorite song since I was a little girl.

SummerAngel 27. August 2009, 15:02

Hey Diep, I haven't seen you here for a while. Welcome Back.
I don't think my fish will bite you, but the little starfish is in big trouble.
I think Seasons in the Sun is a cool song.

lovinmalamutes 29. August 2009, 18:43

I felt as though I were walking down memory song lane. Good choices. :D

SummerAngel 29. August 2009, 21:41

I got this idea from Linda's blog. These are some of my favorites. Homer: Doh! I can't believe I forgot to add Eagles-Life in the Fast Lane.

lovinmalamutes 30. August 2009, 12:28

I saw the one she posted. I can barely post a picture let alone all these other things. I can't believe how inept I am in the computer world.

SummerAngel 30. August 2009, 12:33

It's quite easy. Just create your playlist, then copy the link and paste it into your post. I think there were 4 to choose from. The one that works starts with: <img style="visibility

lovinmalamutes 30. August 2009, 13:14

It is easy if you are familiar or have some idea of it. I don't understand most of it. I went through medical school as a top student yet techy things put me in dumb dumb land.

SummerAngel 30. August 2009, 14:23

You are way TOO hard on yourself my friend. You are more 'techy' than you give yourself credit for...after all, you have successfully executed CSS codes!

If you decide to post a Mix Pod, I will be  to assist you.

lovinmalamutes 30. August 2009, 15:12

I only followed Chuck's directions. I would have been lost otherwise.:eyes:

I appreciate your offer, but I'm not quite ready to tackle that. Heck I don't even know how to line out a word so it is still there but lined out. How's that for inept.:left: :right:

SummerAngel 30. August 2009, 15:28

I don't know how to do that either. http://matcuoi.com

SummerAngel 30. August 2009, 15:32

If anyone has done it on your blog, go to their comment and click on Edit and that will show you how they did it.

lovinmalamutes 30. August 2009, 18:36

I'll give it a try. Haven't you noticed Chuck and Linda both do that? I don't want to be completely stupid so I don't ask them how.

SummerAngel 30. August 2009, 21:21

I can't recall either of them doing a strike through on my blog. I'll look back through some comments, and if I find one, I'll PM the code to you.

SummerAngel 30. August 2009, 21:25

Hey, I dug one up found one. I'll PM you the code.

Suntana 30. August 2009, 21:47

Awww Man! I forgot that you had asked that, Lucy. Just in case you still haven't gotten Annette's PM with the Code, it is:

<s>For Strikethrough</s>
<b>For Bold</b>
<u>For Underline</u>
<i>For Italics</i>

BTW, the reason the 4 instances of Code above are NOT executing the specific functions is because I have those 4 lines of Code enclosed in a bracketed code Start Tag and a bracketed /code End Tag. With those code and /code Start & End Tags, you can insert Code in a Post, Comment or PM and the Code will NOT be executed.

lovinmalamutes 30. August 2009, 21:53

I got it. Thanks. I hope I can get it to work. Things have a way of not working and I do them as directed. I have a negative energy I guess.

SummerAngel 30. August 2009, 21:56

Thank you Sunny.

lovinmalamutes 30. August 2009, 22:02

I think I might be a bit intimidated by this machine.:eyes:
Chuck you remembered me asking that question? I figured it was missed and I wasn't going to ask again, as I didn't want to look dumb. Thanks for the answer.
I'm still trying to decide what should be the scene for my blog. I love too many of the graphics and need to narrow down considerably before I let you know which ones.:D
Go butter up Peppermint. She is in need but can't say why. :worried: :sst: Take good care of her, she is a little delicate

Suntana 30. August 2009, 22:24

A good chunk of today, I've been searching in that Wallpaper site, Lucy ... for the right Ocean theme Background for Christy's NEW Blog Theme. It's an arduous task, not only because of my Dial Up, but because of trying to hit that Bullseye balance of finding nice-looking Wallpapers that do NOT have HUGE File Sizes.

Since I have you two here with your BIG Monitors / Displays, y'all can go check out Christy's NEW Theme at SuntanaLab. I haven't heard any feedback from Christy yet. So, I have no idea whether I'm in the ballpark of what she was envisioning. Theoretically as per the criteria she gave me, what I have there right now should have Release Candidate status. But, sometimes reality will shoot things down.

SummerAngel 30. August 2009, 22:30

I will go check it out Sunny. I just love ocean themes.

lovinmalamutes 31. August 2009, 23:03

I was just there and it is cool. Good job yet again Chuck.

SummerAngel 31. August 2009, 23:34

Doesn't the top of the background compliment the header well?

lovinmalamutes 1. September 2009, 02:08

Yes it does. I really like it.

BTW I am still trying to think up a poem about pink. I haven't forgotten I haven't been in the right frame of mind. I'm working on the mind and soon I'll have it framed.p: :eyes:

SummerAngel 1. September 2009, 18:24

I'm sure your pink poem will be worth the wait. Framed mind...maybe I want to see that too.

Suntana 1. September 2009, 22:20

Thanks, Lucy ... Annette!

Now that I got my New Opera 10 Promotional Header installed and my Blog Post written last night, hopefully I can finalize Christy's Header tonight. There's one last idea I'm going to try. If it looks good, I'll incorporate it. If not, I'll release the version that's currently at SuntanaLab.

lovinmalamutes 2. September 2009, 06:11

She will be happy when she sees her blog everyday. She needs something to help cheer her daily. Not that she isn't happy, she just has alot to deal with.

SummerAngel 2. September 2009, 15:49

I'm going to see if you've made changes to the header Sunny.

Christy's new design should cheer up for some time to come D.

lovinmalamutes 2. September 2009, 16:49

I think so too. She is such a sweety she should be cheered. :D

How are you today Annette? I want to share that we are Aunties to Mina's little darling. You have been for awhile now, but I just became family today.  Now we are sisters. Of course we already were, Sisters in Christ!!:D

SummerAngel 2. September 2009, 17:03

Welcome to the 'Auntie Club' sis. I am ok today, but I took the day off work because I have a sinus headache and get dizzy when I stand up. I took some Benadryl and BC. I hope they start working soon.

Suntana 2. September 2009, 18:30

Hey, congratulations on you becoming an Auntie to Mina's little one, Lucy. :D

The update to Christy's Header is up.
If she approves it, we can install it today.

SummerAngel 2. September 2009, 19:21

I'm sure Christy will approve the new design. I am very happy for her.

lovinmalamutes 4. September 2009, 06:27

I'm sure she will too. It is pretty cool.

It's nice to be an Auntie. I don't to get to be Auntie very often. It's a nice feeling.:D

Hey I just realized I also picked up a new sis, Annette!!

SummerAngel 4. September 2009, 12:50

I don't get to play Auntie often either. I have two nieces, but they live in FL and I don't get to see them as often as I would like.

WOW!I come from a very small family and I am thrilled to have a new sis. Good

lovinmalamutes 4. September 2009, 13:17

Oh Goody. I have a little sister I know, and alot of sisters I don't know nor have never met. So, I have very few sisters and all but one has been by choice, not chance. Woo Hoo!!!
