Today is my special day.
Yes!!! It's my Birthday. party

I have plans to go out to lunch with friends and then to my grandparents house for my special Red Velvet Birthday Cake. Yum, I can't wait.

Thanks to my dear Opera friends Risis and Sunny who remembered my birthday and have already left their wishes on my Welcome Sticky Post. Love ya'll for remembering me. heart

Annette, I'd REALLY make it up to you and play Happy Birthday for you on my Keyboard. Unfortunately, I hadn't played it in quite a while, so it's got a little bit of rust on it. I have to polish it up and get it back up to snuff. It's NOT your average, run of the mill version, so it does get involved. So, yeah, I have to do some practicing on it.

I'll organize and float you the Codes mañana, Okay, Annette? It's that I still want to conduct a little tweak experiment on the CSS Code for that New Comment Box Surround Image Fill. I want to see if I can condense it some. I'm NOT 100% certain, but I might be able to remove at least 2 lines of Code and have it still work. I did that earlier today to the CSS Code for the Fancy Bar above the New Comment Box.

Right now I'm a little bit sleepy. So, I don't feel like conducting that experiment right now. Otherwise, for certain I'll be happy to float you the Codes on Sunday.

Hey girl! Finally made it. Sorry I've not been around much lately. Several reasons---feeling bad, swelling feet and ankles, working a lot on image manipulation and learning how to do various things in my Mint 8 OS. I really like it more all the time. Even got my friend Calvin to install Mint 8, and he is so resistant to change of any kind tht I am amazed I was able to get him liking it. He used my live CD to see if he would like it before he went ahead and burned the ISO and installed it on hard drive.

You could do that, too. Get Ubuntu or Mint 8 (or latest version of whichever you want) and use it as a live CD. That means you can have your boot set to boot from CD first, and you put Mint 8 in the CD drive, and it will let you use it like a regular desktop OS. That way you can try things and see if you like it. If so, It gives you an option to install and walks you through how to partition your hard drive if you want to use both Vista and Linux on one machine. Or you can tell it to take over the whole disk and it will overwrite Vista. Check it out.
