Emma is Robin Scorpio Drake's baby. She was dressed as a little lamb and Robin was a witch.

Did Chuck tell you that he made my Tamil bar and sent me the file? And he has put a zillion of my smilies in here. Box is about a foot tall when it finally opens all the way! There's an image of a robot in here that I really didn't need because it is about 5 inches tall.

Suntana Wednesday, November 3, 2010 2:01:34 AM

I didn't know what any of those images were, Peppermint. It was up to you to have had your Smilies Directory organized and free of any images that didn't belong there. And I think there were some other images as well that didn't belong there ... like the 2 Giraffes? And a couple of others.

Later tonight or maybe tomorrow, I'll send you the formatted list of all those zillion Smilies. You can go through them and delete the ones you don't want in your JS File. Then send me the edited list and I'll create a new updated JS File sans the Robot and whatever other images you didn't want in Smilies Palette.

Awww! Yeah, Annette, I'm just a regular ole Halloween Treat year round. http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/Cool2.gif -

I just hope the updated JS File doesn't decide to just up and NOT work for no reason like that other original JS File.

I'll create it using a fresh download of the JS File from Tamil's Post. If it has the nerve to rebel, I'll use a derivative of a line by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Commando -- "Work or Die!" headbang In Arnold Schwarzenegger's case, it was him threatening an airplane with, "Fly or Die!" The engine didn't want to start and the Bad Guys were closing in. Arnold's threat worked. The engine suddenly decided to comply. http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/LOL2.gif -

Suntana Wednesday, November 3, 2010 11:52:07 PM

No, Annette, I don't have any knowledge of the JS File currently in Tamil's Post being any different than the one we used. I just didn't want to take any chances with Peppermint's JS File since Tamil Smilies JS Files have a habit of NOT playing nice with Peppermint. http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/BigGrin2.gif - So, I just want to execute the process completely from scratch and take meticulous care NOT to miss a step.

SummerAngel Thursday, November 4, 2010 1:08:16 PM

L2D2 Thursday, November 4, 2010 7:59:05 PM

I don't have the new file with the robot in this Peppermint distro though. I'm going to see if I can download it from my email. That should work.

L2D2 Thursday, November 4, 2010 8:00:23 PM

Wasn't criticizing you chuck. Just didn't realize you were going to include THE WHOLE DIRECTORY or I would have edited beforehand. Teach me not to have images in wrong directory. Robbie the Robot should have been in animation directory or Stuff or something.

Suntana Friday, November 5, 2010 12:01:44 AM

Oh I don't even know to what possible criticizing you are referring. Again, when you mentioned that you sent me a copy of your entire Smilies Directory, I had to assumed that meant Smilies as in well ... Smilies, as in what we use in our Posts and Comments. I didn't know you were going to have freakin' Texas-sized murals scared of Robots and who knows what else in there.

L2D2 Friday, November 5, 2010 8:14:45 AM

Anyway, we got er done and edited and everything, so I'm happy.

Suntana Friday, November 5, 2010 1:48:35 PM

Yep, we got'r DUN! http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/ThumbsUp.gif -

Now if I can just get my CSS Code's last 2 remaining issues fixed and ready for the NEW MyOpera LIVE release, we'll all be set.

I haven't heard back from Lucideer yet, but Schalandra said he'd probably be able to take a look at my CSS on Sunday. up So, hopefully by Monday my CSS Code is fixed, be it by Schalandra or Lucideer or a collective effort by both of them. http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/Happy.gif - I know they both have the expertise. Unfortunately they both understandably have very busy schedules. So, I just have to wait until they're unbusy.

Suntana Friday, November 5, 2010 1:57:03 PM

Annette, why don't you go ahead and send me those images of the Shell and of the Fish that you wanted me to try out as Menu Buttons? I'd have to see them to determine what the odds are that they will work as Menu Buttons.

Remember, whatever image goes on the Buttons can't be TOO overly-complex and detailed. Otherwise it'll be tough to get any Font Colors to contrast well.

Is your idea to have say ... the Shell image for the Idle Button status and have them change to a Fish image for the Hovered On and Selected state?

Who knows? We may even go with taller Buttons if that's what it takes to get a decently nice LOOK on the Buttons. Of course, we can't go TOO Big. We don't want Menu Buttons the height of Peppermint's Header! http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/Scared.gif - http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/ROFL.gif -

YES!!! I will try to look them up and send them to you Sunday or Monday. I worked 12 hours last night and work 16 hours tomorrow, so I'm a little too tired to look for them now.

http://files.myopera.com/SummerAngel/Smilies//thankyou.gif - for not forgetting my request.http://files.myopera.com/SummerAngel/Smilies//urock.gif -

Suntana Friday, November 5, 2010 10:00:22 PM

What I'm gonna have to do is get the average width of all your Menu Buttons and center it on that width. Cuz unfortunately the Menu Buttons function is NOT going to just simply automatically center the Shell image and the Fish image on each of those different width Buttons. Nope! The Menu Buttons function is simply going to display the Shell image and the Fish image from left to right no matter the width of each Button. So, depending on the Button, the images might be a little offset to the left or to the right. By centering the images on I guess a Black Button Background of the average width, I'll hopefully be able to keep that offsetting to a minimum.

L2D2 Saturday, November 6, 2010 2:27:59 AM

I want a menu button as tall as my header Chuck! I see tabbed menu buttons all over the internet and they are a lot taller than the normal ones we've been using.

I haven't been able to make the double menu buttons in this version of Photoshop CS4. It won't make separate windows on the workspace. Do you know how to set it maybe so that is possible? I\

Just have the regular workspace. Call an image for a button, then get a new image and it jumps over the first image. Don't know how to get them in a 60px tall box one of top of the other. It just ain't happening.

L2D2 Saturday, November 6, 2010 2:29:14 AM

And I can't do it in GIMP because it puts each image in a separate workspace and I can't get the two images together in one workspace.

May be setting somewhere that I don't have configured right.

Suntana Saturday, November 6, 2010 4:10:48 AM

I have no idea what your CS4 or GIMP would look like. But, I'm pretty sure they both HAVE to use the same principle as my Photoshop 6.0. They both have to have a Canvas set up for the Width & Height you want. And then simply each Button will go on a different Layer. There's just no way it cannot work that way.

You must be doing something wrong in GIMP because GIMP has Layers capability and like I said, you simply put each Button in a different Layer in the 100 x 60 Canvas that you set up in the beginning.

Peppermint, I might be going to my sister's place tomorrow. IF her computer is available and IF her computer recognizes my Flash Drive this time around, I'll download GIMP Portable among other Apps. Then maybe I can take a quick look at how the 2 in 1 Menu Button Duo image thang would be accomplished in GIMP.

Suntana Saturday, November 6, 2010 9:23:52 PM

Confound it! DENIED!
I did go to my sister's place this morning. Last week I couldn't use their computer to do any downloading because they had some dude running Anti-Virus / Anti-Malware Scans because they had encountered a Fake Anti-Virus in their computer. scared

Today, their computer is worse! yikes
This time it won't even connect to the Net and now it is popping up warnings of this, that and the other infected just about quicker than you can click on Block or Close to all those Windows. One of them I'm virtually sure it is the Fake Anti-Virus.

I wanted to try and help 'em out, but, I couldn't stick around today. I had to be elsewhere. If my Brother-in-Law, who is VERY impatient when his Net is down, can't wait, he's gonna call some other dude today to fix their computer. But, apparently he charges a lot. At my sister's request, I told her that yeah, on Sunday I can go and give it my best shot to disinfect their computer. I'm dreading it a bit. scared I'm NOT looking forward to it. The situation looked really bad. GULP! http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/Scared.gif -

Suntana Saturday, November 6, 2010 9:25:50 PM

I'm gonna have to put together my plan of attack this evening. I'm first going to go to my nephew's place to download SUPERAnti-Spyware Portable and Dr. Web Cureit onto a CD.

Then tomorrow I'll have to poke around and figure out what mess that other dude might have done. He took out the Webroot Security Suite they used to have and installed avast, which is fine as I also use avast. But, I also happened to see the McAfee Shortcut Icon on the Desktop. He might have 2 or 3 Anti-Viruses going on at the same time, which is NOT good. Cuz the dude did tell me today that he had tried about 7 different Apps to try and fix their computer.

So, I'll have to make sure that only ONE Anti-Virus is on there for starters.

And of course, it's NOT going to help that everything I'll be doing is going to be in Windows Vista territory. http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/Scared.gif -

L2D2 Saturday, November 6, 2010 11:40:03 PM

Chuck, I installed XP Pro w/service pack three in VirtualBox this evening. So, I can use Windows INSIDE Ubuntu. It's pretty neat. Works like a charm so far. Only thing I don't like about it---I can't get it to go full screen. Haven't used my F11 key while in there yet, but clicking on the restore or maximize button doesn't work. It operates in a screen about 5 or 6 x 5 or 6.

L2D2 Saturday, November 6, 2010 11:40:58 PM

Now, I will try to install Photoshop in XP Pro and see if I can get all functions to work. I'm determined.

SummerAngel Sunday, November 7, 2010 4:31:11 AM

McAfee doesn't play nice with any other Anti-Virus. Maybe you should also download Revo onto a CD so you make sure to take off all traces of it.

Suntana Monday, November 8, 2010 4:50:52 AM

Well, Shoot, Peppermint, if you're going to be messing around with such a small Windows XP, you might as well go all the way and start Mobile Blogging. scared

Suntana Monday, November 8, 2010 4:54:48 AM

Actually, Annette, really no 2 or more Anti-Viruses should be used at the same time. There's gonna be conflict.

Suntana Monday, November 8, 2010 5:00:59 AM

Annette, I did see my sister today and asked her her opinion / assessment on the Vanessa Marcil MJ-afication allegations. yikes

My sister agreed with me. She said she didn't see Vanessa having any plastic surgery work done that is remotely close to MJ level.

What my sister said she did see was that Vanessa has lost a LOT of weight. And that considering she was already tiny and slim before ... she is now "a stick." scared So, my sister said that most likely that's what's contributing to Vanessa's sunken face look. She added that I guess you could also say that now with Vanessa's stick body ... her head looks too big.

I have a big screen HD tv which shows all facial flaws. Usually when an older woman loses a lot of weight wrinkles will appear. She has none. http://files.myopera.com/SummerAngel/Smilies//faces.gif -
