Thank you I'd think up something real nice to say but I am beat today. Had to pay storage rent and fetch supplies in the window I had. (Got a new track ball, they get gummed up as fast as my strings do)

You did say you joined MyOpera Community on Christmas Day 1 year ago, right? Congratulations! Kudos! You've come a long way. You made a LOT of friends, which as I recall from your 1st Post, which is now deleted ... you wanted to make friends. You learned some CSS Code. And you've obviously had a great time here on the OC. Otherwise, I'm sure you wouldn't have stuck around.

I didn't know Christmas was your blog anniversary, Annette. Happy Anniversary! Mine will be Feb. 19. I joined about 3 months after I retired. And have no regrets whatsoever.

Thank you very much Missy Annette. I don't know whether I'll remember to do a post or not. I think it's customary, but not a biggie. I'm already getting the urge to change my design again. Chuck is beginning to know me well.

Well, I just got told by Chuck that he can't do the design that I want. I want to use an animated background with a transparent oval in the header that shows the animated background in back, and in the center of the oval, I wanted to use animated text that turns around and around. Chuck says he doesn't know any CSS code that will allow for animation in the header.

How do you get the one animation? Carol had her animated name, plus I think the water in the lake was moving.

There's one guy who might be able to pull off what you're wanting, Peppermint. But, he said he's VERY busy right now. He's Schalandra. He's got several CSS Tutorials on his Blog and plans on adding more, but said that NOT just yet because he's super busy at the moment. I'll toss the idea at him sometime here in the near future and see what he says.

In the meantime, you're just gonna have to make do with something SUPERIOR to what you want.

I could almost assuredly come up with something drastically different than what you've had before ... IF you remotely gave me carte blanche. But, that will never happen. Right now you would nix anything that catches you off guard, anything that you didn't envision. So, I have no choice, but to go by what you specify.

And right now you're specifying something for which I don't have the CSS Code. As I said, I MIGHT be able to get it, just NOT at the moment. You'll have to wait. I can't exactly get a cattle prod and go Zap someone into giving me the Code if they're busy right now.

Also, NEW concepts will be coming out here in 2010.
I have no idea what they are yet.
But, as I learn more Photoshop Tricks & Treats, I'll be able to utilize new techniques and ideas. Again ... you'll just have to WAIT. Cuz remember ... learning these new techniques takes TIME. With me having been full steam ahead involved in all those Christmas Blog Themes, it wasn't exactly conducive to shoehorning in some experimenting / pioneering time with Photoshop. Hopefully now I'll get some more time to explore strange new worlds ... to seek out new life and new civilizations ... to boldly go where no Chuck has gone before! Doo Dooooo ... You've never had a Big Ole Cow Head in your Header, Peppermint. So, that would be a drastic change. Should I get started on that?

Happy birthday Elvis. I am stuck Chuck. I don't know what I want in my header, just a scene of somekind, rather than a stylized one like now. Just have no idea which way I want to go. Every time I get an idea of what I want, you shoot me down.

No, Peppermint ... the only idea I am shooting down is the Animation on a Header Background idea. It would look great, but I plain ole don't know how to do it. I mean, if I knew how to do it, some of y'all's Headers would already have that.

I am NOT shooting down your Sci-Fi / Space / Mean Robots / Industrial / Grunge ideas at all. I just said you will have to definitely send me images of specifically what you want cuz I KNOW I'll get it wrong in that department. You KNOW you give me pretty close to ZERO leeway to surprise you. I seriously don't have a clue as to what you mean by "Industrial" and "Grunge." But, if you give me an idea, I'll make it happen.

I should be finished with Mette's theme by Saturday more than likely. So, YOUR theme could be started next week.

You'll see what grunge is when you go to that site. Industrial is also in the same neighbohood. High Tech. Metals, hard to explain. I just not sure what direction I want to go. And I love the cyborg/robots, but haven't discovered a background. The silver brushed metal one on grunge site might work well. Fix me up something with cyborgs/science fiction/metal. Nothing has solidified.
