Merry CHRISTmas
Thursday, December 3, 2009 3:37:05 PM
CHRISTmas is my favorite holiday. I love all the beautiful decorations, delicious foods, awesome presents, laughter and love of family and friends as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ. I wish everyone reading this post a joyous and blessed Merry CHRISTmas.
It just wouldn't be CHRISTmas in my house without hearing My Man Elvis sing Blue CHRISTmas. This video is from his '68 Comeback Special. His good looks and amazing voice were at their peak during this filming IMO. I hope you enjoy him as much as I do.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
When you finish putting it together,
watch what happens.

I would like to thank my talented friend Sunny, aka (Suntana) for creating this beautiful Christmas Theme for my blog. He has created blog themes for some of his other Opera friends and has them listed on the right hand side of his blog under (Suntana's Blog Designs). Swing by his blog and check out his other awesome designs.

Elvis' voice has always, and probably always will, give me goose pimples. Thanks for the post Annette. Hope you have a merry and blessed CHRISTMAS. We do not have happy holiday in MY family.

Love and Hugs to you my dear friend.

I've been running around doing errands so I didn't take the time to reply to the notice about your blog. I wanted to wait until I could open up the netbook. Even it doesn't do justice to the Youtube feed. I hope the holydays are all you expect of them.
Have a good New years too
SummerAngel # Sunday, December 6, 2009 7:02:00 PM
Hope your errands went well and all is good for you in your corner of the world. Is it still warm there?
It got down to 18°F here last night and the high so far at 1pm is only 34°F.
I'm just planning a quiet Christmas at home this year. Hope yours is extra special.

It's been getting down to about freezing but it doesn't get much lower than that and warms up into the 60's during the day.
Got the tent up right now so it's not too bad. It's roomier than an iron maiden.

That reminds me. In half an hour, I'm gonna have to decide whether I want to engage in a Workout to make up for the one that never really materialize yesterday. Sundays are supposed to be days off from exercising. But, since yesterday I just never quite got going, I'd like to make up for that. Gotta make some room for all that food that's gonna be thrust in our face every which way we turn in the next couple of weeks.
Sooo, Annette ... Blue Christmas is your favorite Elvis Christmas tune, huh? What about ... which is your favorite Porky Pig Christmas tune? Would it possibly also be Blue Christmas?

I don't know if I did that correctly since y'all know I'm NOT remotely a YouTube Wizard. Some of y'all might have heard it, but it is positively hilarious!

Since I still can't get Hawaii out of my mind - Mele ka liki ma!
Have you ever bodysurfed on the north shore of Oahu in the winter?
(Please excuse me if my Hawaiian isn't quite correct)
Don't wait for the sea shells to get beached. There won't be anything left by that time.

I decided to check Opera News feeds. I had page loading problems then and they continue today. Some headers, side bars, and animations in blogs aren't loading for me even after refreshing. This is not happening when I visit other sites. Are you having a problem with this?
SummerAngel # Wednesday, December 9, 2009 6:22:59 PM
Suntana # Wednesday, December 9, 2009 8:50:05 PM
As to the loading problems?
I can't say that I've had those problems with my Suntana's Blog Trek. But, for a week or so, I've sometimes had problems over at SuntanaLab. Sometimes it seems to lockup, usually if I go from there to Suntana's Blog Trek and back.
Remember, Annette, they just installed that Opera Community Update on Monday. Usually anytime there are Updates, there are lingering glitches or outright problems for a while after them.
I know you don't use Opera. So, on your IE, try clearing out the Browser Cache, History, Cookies, Temporary Internet Files, Etc. You know ... a Disk Cleanup.
I frequently, probably every other day, perform a Private Data Clearing and Profile Reset on my Opera Browser and perform a Disk Cleanup on my Windows XP.
