Going to the Opera.

Opera: A musical dramatic work in which the actors sing some or all of their parts; a union of music, drama and spectacle, with music normally playing a dominant role.
The one browser we know called Opera, shows similarities with its namesake. It is a union of speed, ease and everchanging looks.
I have been to plays, concerts, standup and street shows. I am always pulled back from these to the one true art, Opera. I go in. With the speed dial, my seat is found easily, I have the same seats every time. Life without drama, life that is quicker, life that is convenient. The versions of the opera continue to change, but this changing is something of wonder, towards an ever brighter future.
My eyes with age have begun to fail, this could cause me some distress. Technology, it allows a simple addition of lense to allow me to see closer, the finer details. The actors, the costumes, the sets. Subtract, I again see the work for what it is, a whole. Everything coming together in one beautiful scene. Simple, magic, spectacle.
Some think the opera is a big affair, full of those who look down on the masses. I assure you this is not the case. It is in essense small, there is what there needs to be, what anyone wants it to be, with nothing that will distract from the function, the art of the production. The opera is intimate, yet a sense of community exists. The people there are not just viewers, but users of something which is ingrained in their very lives. They interact. They know they have made the correct choice to be there, yet do not look down apon those not with us. In time. In time they will come, they will see the spectacle, feel the drama, hear the music.
