Acceptance
People have a tendency of looking down on others as if they are superior to them and draw satisfaction from others downfalls. I have a problem with people who look at me and expect me to be the way they want me to be since I am unique, I make mistakes just like everybody else and am human and not perfect but no, I always get a feeling that there are people who would rather see me they way they want to perceive me and degrade me in the process.
I mean if you look at somebody and expect them to be the way that you want them to be is a problem since because if I live my life tryna please you another will come and ill tryna please them too so you see I cannot please the whole world so I cannot understand why people cannot accept me for who I am and life would be easier that way. I have people that I have overcome in certain areas of life and now that they see a certain weakness in me they think that they have the upper hand but deep down they know that I am the best at what I do sometimes I just surprise myself and can’t believe how brilliant I am but on the other I have so many battles I have to endure and they are mostly from within.
Competing with other people is a complete waste of time and energy and those two things are precious. One thing that I discovered is that I would rather compete with myself in certain areas that I feel I have neglected and if I overcome them I know I can overcome anything, one wise man once said that great wars are fought from within. So if you are at your peak from within no one can pull you down because you are sure about yourself and the next move that you will attempt in your life.
There are a few things I had been asking myself and they have always eluded me, why do people look at others as if they are born in chit, just because they cannot reach those expectations. Why do you have to undermine me because I have a few dollars less that you? Why do I have to act differently in your presence because I have to please you, and wear clothes I do not like because I want you to see me as hype and trendy, change my movement so you can say I am cool, spend money I don’t have so you’ll think I am rich, pretend I’m something I’m not so you’ll think I’m better, speak differently so you’ll think I’m opinionated, why can’t you just accept me for me so I can be who I am and then you’ll know me for me and accept me for who I am then we can build each other in this cruel life. We should learn to accept others for who they are because God made them that way and has plans for them the way he planned their lives in their mothers wombs.

Mind Your Language
Introduction
Our Government wants to implement education in all the 11 languages. In this article I am going to highlight the problems that are associated with this policy and the effect it will have on South Africa as a whole. The South African government is full of people who do not really know what they are doing and in the process they keep destroying the lives of people in our country. I mean what is this? Trying to change the education policy for the worst, ever since they took over from apartheid, the standard of education in this country has been dwindling compared to other countries. The quality is also disgusting as well but I will dwell on that later.
The Implications
They propose that all subjects should be administered in every indigenous language, what a joke, I mean what would they call a hyperbola in Sesotho. I am a Sotho speaking person but it would be ridiculous to teach me maths and physics in my language. They claim that it would make people understand the subjects better. Look at it this way, doing that would require a tremendous amount of administrative costs and resources not to mention the amount of money involved. First of all we have eleven languages in this country, this would entail eleven teachers for each subject in one school not to mention the people that would have to translate all these textbooks into these languages, there would have to be separate classes for each individual language and we all know that is impossible with our underfunded education system that has financial problems as we speak.
There are still people who are taught under trees and shacks to this day, why don’t they try to fix that first then we can start talking about this anarchy they are attempting to propose. There is another problem that may arise which is the content itself, I mean how would they pronounce parabola, vector, perpendicular and so forth into these languages, this would lead to confusion even amongst the people who speak those languages.
I know exactly what is happening here, you see after they took over the government in 1994, (don’t mistake me for a racist I am black myself) they are trying to get back at white people by doing things that white people did to them since they were forced to learn things in Afrikaans, they may be some truth into my argument I mean look at all the unnecessary name changes that have been going on. I believe this is stupid and unnecessary cause times and things have changed since this will lead to more hatred and a complete waste of taxpayers’ money.
What can be done?
What they should do is at least try and focus on the quality of education which as we speak is already in the gutters. All that money should be spent on building schools and making sure that everyone gets a chance at tertiary education without having to pay, I mean isn’t that what they promised us when they asked us to vote for them? Free education. I believe that they can train more quality teachers and employ them so that the quality and content of education matches that of private schools and international standards. All this is easy to do and should have been done a long time ago had the government employed competent and worthy people to lead our education system instead of employing people based on favors or those who went to the struggle because let’s face it most of them are stupid and fail our country,. Where have you heard that beetroot can cure AIDS? Only in South Africa

The beauty of music
I believe and it’s my opinion, that music has a healing power. Ever noticed that when you are sad and you listen to a certain song and oh somehow you feel that a heavy load has been lifted off your shoulders. Some people claim that when they were unconscious and baroque was played to them they could hear it. No matter who you are or where you live music plays a bigger part in your life and I can confess that it plays a bigger part in my life especially when I am studying.
I play an instrument myself but am still learning. One thing that I realized when I’m playing is that when I play I get in touch with my inner self and have seen that there are many forms of meditating but with music I can achieve the same level cause perhaps I get to the same level of consciousness they reach when they meditate by playing my music and feel a sense of peace from within when I play. I am not a musician but I am somehow connected to my instrument. Ever seen how an addict feels when they are dissociated with their drug? That is how I feel when I haven’t played my instrument for a while and I just chase away whoever is with me when I need to play because I need to be alone when that time has come and fortunately they now understand.
To those of you who play, have you ever felt the feeling when you play and play and play and you felt that you command the instrument and it is talking to you and in the same way its talking to you and you just play and lose yourself in the instrument and forget all that surrounds you . I say one thing to you, play on someone will discover you because of one thing. Music is a feeling and is a way to communicate to others how you feel at that time and they will feel that way. That is when they will say: that guy plays really good music,. I have one person in mind id like you to listen to who has a beautiful feeling and if you follow his life story you’d understand. His name is Andreas Vollenweider and he plays a harp.

Pleasing Other People
Sometimes a situation arises whereby one finds that one is not oneself and circumstances present themselves and one is forced to act in a way that is suitable to a situation but the situation is not pleasing to oneself in a way that one has to act in a way that pleases someone else in favor of the situation cause one is trying to protect the ones he/she cares for or for instance one has to succumb to certain things cause one has a consideration for peace.
For instance one might have a sibling who fights with the whole family when he/she is stressed but when the person is happy all is good. So one is forced to succumb for the sake of keeping the family in order and one knows that that is wrong. When the person is with neighbors all is good and the neighbors think that that family is doing well in terms of progressing with life but they wouldn’t know exactly what is going on in ones family. You see pretence is the mother of all demise. Cause one has to show this face to this person and another to that one. When one has to project a picture that all is well at home while one is being abused to the core and lives life in agony. Exactly why should one have a home? Shouldn’t it be where one feels safe after work and after the difficulties of the world?
This is exactly why I hate people who undermine other people because they were born earlier than you. Cause they think that they are better than you or because they are married to you and they know that you have nowhere else to go then it gives them the right to beat you up or abuse you in one way or another and you go on pretending that all is well to other people for the sake of peace and safekeeping of family. I say expose them and they should be dealt with accordingly. Nobody owns the right to beat you up whether married or not. Truth is if somebody lays a hand on you that person does not deserve you period or he wouldn’t beat a person he loves period. It should only take once, if somebody beats you once what makes you think he wont do it again. This is such a sad topic maybe I should just leave it . I AM A MAN MYSELF AND I HATE MEN WHO ABUSE WOMEN.

I would like to suggest a nice recipe for yall. In this instance i shall show you a way to prepare a cuizine fit for a king and queen.
For this u will need
0.5 kg chicken gizzardz
0.5 kg chickens small intestines
1 full onion
for your seasoning you will need:
1/3 of teaspoon of chicken spice
1/4 of teaspoon of white pepper
1/4 of steak and chops
1/5 of teaspoon salt to taste
1/2 a cup of water
25 ml fish oil or olive oil for the health conscious
Preparation:
1.Mix your spices well in a small dish together with the salt.
2.Boil the gizzardz together with the small intestines with the amount of water i recommended at 150 degrees celsius until the water has evaporated then pour the oil into the pot and reduce the heat to 100 degrees celsious.
3.Fry them for about 10 minutes and add the finely chopped onions to the mixture and keep stirring for about 5 minutes then introduce the seasoning to the mixture. Fry them for the next five minutes and then voila! A meal fit for a king and a queen
Serve with hot Pap or rice
serves 4
Have a bottle of champagne handy (not domestic) or i prefer a beer

THE POWER OF LOVE
Love is one of the most powerful liberating and unifying forces in the Universe, it is a gift that God gave us and instilled in us. Whether one may view from a romantic perspective, Sibling or in a friendship, the truth is each of us possesses it inside of us and it is a really good feeling to have. When one meets a stranger in a state of despair you cannot help but give that person love whether you know them or not, Take for instance a street kid, the mere sight of such a person would encourage you to help them and truth is you are being guided by love and what you feel inside of you towards that person.
It does not discriminate nor put down others, as I said it is a unifying force, when people have love it is easy for them to get along, people who are racist do not use the full potential of the love they have inside since they do not acknowledge the existence of other people who do not look like them and therefore have allowed the feelings of hate to overcome the love they have towards others, look at the Plants for instance, the tree, grass and flowers grow together in harmony and yet the grass does not say tree go away from me you do not look like me so you see amongst us there are those that repel the laws of nature and choose to hate each other and yet we do not give each other a chance to see what makes us different from one another and so we can live in harmony.
Love encourages giving, since greed may be the opposite of giving. When people have love they always consider what is best for others and their wellbeing and it becomes easier for them to give, giving may mean giving your time to others and helping those that are in need, if you have extra clothes you don’t need, there are always others that are less fortunate than you who need them more and you will see that sadness disappear off their faces being replaced by a smile and God that can feel so good. Take a visit to the elderly, even a simple thing like giving just an Hour at the local child welfare may make a difference to them. It takes a little effort from each of us to make a difference in this world so that those we help may be productive members of the society and in turn the economy may develop and thrive. So you see giving is the most important aspect of love as opposed to greed.
On the other hand greed is the single force that has brought despair amongst people all over the world and people don’t even know it. Look at it this way, multinational companies have brought greed and despair amongst all of us, TV encourages people to fall in debt by trying to look like superstars and buying things that they do not even need. The factories they have all over the world have destroyed the planet and land that could once be cultivated is now obsolete and this has brought more poverty in Africa. The profits they make end up in the pockets of few people while the rest are forced to suffer. Greed is the greatest impediments to the progress of humanity so we ought to replace greed with love and the world can be a better place.
Ill close my blog with a nice paragraph, this is one entity of love that has always eluded me. Ever heard of a secret admirer. Theres one scenario that may help me elaborate on this. If there is a girl who passes at a certain street at a certain time of the day say from work at 5pm and theres a guy who passes that intersection at the same time say from school. Subconsciously the girl in her mind would say oh what a handsome guy and the man would then say in his mind oh what a beautiful woman the first time they pass each other, then the next day they see each other and the same thing happens when they see each other. You see those people have developed a relationship without even them knowing it and at some point the girl would wish she would see the guy next time, just the site of him. Now at some point, the girl in her mind as they approach each other would wish that the guy would at least greet her and the guy in his mind would wish to greet her but at the moment they pass each other the guy then trembles out of fear for rejection and would then pass her without greeting her and when they pass each other the girl would be disappointed that the guy did not greet her and the guy in his mind would say oh maybe I did not greet her this time maybe I’ll try some other time then the same thing happens. In reality the girl would assume that the guy is not interested in her type whereas the guy in his mind also thinks the girl would reject her because she is too beautiful for him. This is what exactly happens in many of us in one way or another but under different constraints.

Excellence, what is excellence, it is that entity of life that people are always chasing or at least some claim to have achieved. Well excellence cannot be measured. I can say it is continous like time. No one in this life can claim to have achieved excellence since it is not discrete. Look at it this way. You can set your goals and say i want to have a beautiful life, good marks at school, a fat annuity when i retire and a soulmate to die for. In fact you will achieve those things and when you have achieved them will you say yes i have everything i have yearned for and now i will stop pursuing the journeys of life. No, you see life will not end there, you see at the peak of your excellence when all is achieved, ul stil want more new goals will have been developed or you will have set yourself much higher goals and keep progressing so you see excellence is a journey and is continuus like time.
The secret to excellence is the mind. When you summon your mind in the direction of exellence all can be achieved. When you teach your mind to be disciplined, patient, and steer it at the things that are in par with excellence. For instance when you are given a project to work on. you work on it and at some point you say i am now tired il just submit it in this form n know it will be satisfactory to my superiors. Now there is a problem, you have opened a gap for mediocrity and never pushed youself to your best and hence you score an average. Though the result may be good to the superiors, truth is you know had you put in a little extra effort you would have been brilliant. This applies in all areas of life like social, love, work and practically anything that is involved in your life.
Leave no room for mediocrity and youl see the results for yourself. Ask all the succesful people. Or the superstars. That little extra effort distinguishes them from the masses and hence they are not average. You too can achieve that if you leave no room for mediocrity. If you are at the stadium training, run an extra minute from what you are used to, if you are a student studying, read a few extra pages a day, if you are a worker put in a little extra n ur superious will reward you. The company of people you keep must also be likeminded otherwise they can pull you away from a wonerful journey of excellence. Negative people have a nice way of influencing others from a good thing. Remember the line (NO IT CANT BE DONE, IMPOSSIBLE AND THIS IS VERY HARD) and after some time they say oh yes YOU DID IT, HOW DID YOU DO IT?) now there the very people who were negative.
Let us not confuse excellence with perfection, you see perfection is an illusion that people create in thier minds about a state they aim to achieve in a certain area of thier life or in thier life as a whole but as we all know that is impossible because God is the only one who is perfect but you can be excellent in life as a human being since excellence acknowledges mistakes that you make along the way but one can never be perfect since anything that is known to be perfect is flawless and if we all admit we have made a few mistakes in ourlives so we can never claim perfection since anything that has to do with man has mistakes in it only the almighty can ever pe perfect.
So go out and be excellent.
