The great God and king of kings

Lord you were there for me in hard times
You held me high in your hand in tough times
When I thought that the world was crushing on me
And I felt t heavy over my shoulders
Circumstances at that time were beyond me
You opened my eyes and made me see
Life and get to places I could never reach
Raised me and made me eat in front of my enemies

You are a treasure chest of happiness
Nevertheless I try my best to reach your righteousness
I keep failing with my restlessness but your tenderness
Is full of endless forgiveness keeping me in onenessness with my selflessness.
A blameless God you are, you bless and never curse
The alpha and the omega bringer of peace and hope
Coerce me with thy love and raise me with thy wing

We do not acknowledge your love
Yet we ask ourselves why life is so hard
Only if we played our part and held you in high regard
Our lives would not be so torn apart
I fell down and you showed me where I belong
Even when I was weak you made me strong
Showed me right from wrong and now I know that you are a great God
I lost all yet I know in your hands I have all
