The meaning of friendship
What does it mean to be a friend?
This document applies to everyone who has a friend, a girlfriend or a wife but the focus is going to be on a friend and it applies to all I have mentioned.
A friend I believe is somebody whom one is willing to share all their secrets with and entrust them with their lives. Friend is a very expensive word and when somebody or you say that you are somebody’s friend is a very dangerous thing or the word itself is of a noble hierarchy. For instance when I say that I am somebody’s friend, it really means a lot of possibilities which I believe concern protecting the well being of that person and being affectionate without expecting a favor in return. I can claim to be your friend and at the same time look for what I can gain from you be it fame or money and the like without me showing you exactly what I am on and you will believe that I am your friend and try your best to make me happy whereas I am on another dimension without me showing it, so you see people use each other these day and it is not cool. If you tell a woman that you love her one has to really mean it and stand up for it not thinking about what one can get from her because as we all know the truth does really come out at the end of the day. This is why some people find themselves married to people they do not love in the first place because they pretended from the onset and the relationship was doomed from the word go.
This life is very hard for all of us so instead of pretending and using one another we can just be honest and say how we feel and save each other time and trouble, that’s just me and how I see the world maybe you have your own view but my experiences have taught me otherwise, if I say I am your friend it means that I am supposed to defend you where you cannot, lift you when you fall, teach you right from wrong and when you are weak I must make you strong. If I love you I must do just that and no in betweens. Isn’t that the way life is supposed to be, people looking beyond and being truthful and honest with each other? Wouldn’t the world be a better place for us even if it’s so f..cked up?
