Morgen gehts los

Hallo alle zusammen

!

Ich bin Swenja und werde morgen zuerst für 3 Tage nach New York fliegen und dann weiter nach Valdosta über Atlanta bis ich dann endlich in meinem Zuhause für 10 Monate in Douglas, Georgia ankomme.
Douglas liegt im Süden von Georgia also nahe bei Florida.
Meine Gasteltern für dieses eine Jahr sind ein Lehrerehepaar mit einem 9-Monate alten Baby und 2 Hunde und Katzen

Ich freue mich schon riesig dort anzukommen.
Natürlich habe ich aber auch Angst vor dem Abschied von Freunden und Familie.
Bis dahin habe ich habe noch 15 Stunden

.
Wenn ich am Donnerstag bei meiner Gastfamilie ankomme schreibe ich wieder.

Übrigens habe ich schon gesagt, dass ich an meinem 17. Geburtstag fliege?

Dad writes: Hi dear. Although you´re still in your room one floor below at the moment, wrting farewell letters to friends, we´ve already started to miss you so much! We really hope tomorrow will not only be a sad day with many tears, but also a bright day for you, for it´s your 17th birthday - don´t forget! - and the beginning of a very exciting adventure - you going abroad for at least 10 months. So, our dear Swenja, sleep tight on your last night in your room and your bed with all the things around you that you will probably miss - but with a good dream about a wonderful new home in Douglas, Georgia and all the wonderful people that you´ll meet there and the many friends that you have to leave - with many tears again - when you are coming back in May next year!
