Recent had in mind: In Bruges

For some strange reasons, I find myself writing about the movies
right after I've just watched them recently.
Two hitmen stay put in Bruges, awaiting for further orders from their boss in London. You would probably ask "Where the hell is Bruges?", and I don't know either, the characters in the movie didn't either, and that's something important of the film itself. Well, it's an old town with Medieval fashion in Belgium, but after all, it's not so well-known. After hours and days of impatient waiting, the order finally came, of course, with shock, as the three tangled in a story of redemption, guilt and morality.
I've never heard of this movie (yes, an impulse purchase, as I've seen recently on GameSpot), or the cast, or the director or whatsoever. But I don't care. The important thing is that it consists of all brilliant story, screenplay, performance and messages. I find myself at a shock when I saw the ending with me without realizing that it was about to come.
In Bruges is a compelling thriller with a powerful message that will leave me exhilarating as well as itself unforgettable for a while, at least. Yes, as Roger Ebert said, it achieved more than an urge to visit this little-known city.

Well, one of my first impulse purchase, and I didn't regret it. By the way, the movie looks like an unintentional advertisement. I've been thinking about "If it was somewhere good, there'd be too many people coming to see it, it would spoil the whole thing". The film was released for over a year now, and has Bruges been spoilt?
Just one more: wondering why were there so many 'Vietnamese'?

Rating: 5/5 (The highest ever).
