[The previous post here was about a local Buy & Sell and swap web site. It closed down so this space will now deliver a few words about Electric vehicles instead.]
I admit to being an Electric Vehicle enthusiast.
It will be refreshing not to pay $400 a month for gas to keep the SUV running. There will be no need for engine servicing and tune-ups.
There will be no need for oil changes, anti-freeze or gas tank additives or filters.
There will be no replacement exhaust systems to pay for.
I could list more, but you get the picture.
A person could invest the saved gas money in a classic car. True they run on gasoline, but one only drives a classic on very few select sunny Sundays. Nice thing about classics. They appreciate in value, not depreciate, like the family car. TG
