A new paster decides 2 visit hs parishioners.At 1 house it cms there z some1 at home,bt no answers.He takes out a card n writes,"Revelation 3:20",on th bek n sticks 2 th door.During offering th 4lowing Sunday he finds th card returned wth th msg,"Genesis 3:10".Reaching 4 th Bible 2 check th reference he burst out laoughing.Revelation 3:20 begins,"Behold,I stand at the door and knocks".Genesis 3:10 reads,I heard your voice in the garden,I was afraid and I hid from you for I was naked.

Then I said 2 myself,"what else can I do in order 2 b totally,absolutetly,completely,creatively sure tht I get out of bed at 4:30am?"And surprise surprise my brain had an answer.TRIPPLE SURE.Thts right I set three alarms-th clock, th cellphone n th electronic organiser.1 wld go off at 4:20am,th next at 4:25am n th last at 4:30am.I placed th three noisy gadgets in my bedroom as far 4rm th bed as possible.Ths 4cd me 2 get out of bed in order 2 switch off each alarm when it went off.Yeah I hear u n I agree I'm not getting enough sleep-but it's only 4 a while.SUCCESS AT LAST.Th end result z tht I've ensured tht I'm up at 4:30am.I no longer wait 4 th 2nd or 3rd alarm 2 ring.Lets juss say my mom wld b greatly inconvenienced by three alarms blaring off at ths uneathly hour n we certainly dn't want tht 2 happen,do we?NOT ENOUGH.So what z my point?Th point z tht most of us throw in th towel when we simply 've not exerted enough effort,applied enough energy n employed enough creativity.MOST OF US HAVE THE QUITTING HABIT.

Enough z neva enough.I've no doubt tht u've tried 2 reach yo goals.U've exerted all yo effort 2 get yoself going.U've used all yo energies 2 stay on track.I knw u've done mo than enough 2 realise yo dreams.But somehow th heavens cms 2 've abandoned u.Yo efforts 've come 2 nought.Possibly u've arrived at a critical point where u juss want 2 throw in towel n call it quits.U've done mo than enough n yet reaped nothing.LIAR,Dn't despair.Help z at hand.No I'll not offer u any sympathy.Istead,I'll tellu th truth.And th truth z tht u've not done enough yet.When u think tht u've done enough in 99% of th cases u'r actually lying.TERRIBLE POSITION.Last week I was there.I was in a terrible position where I tried evrythng n still failed dismally.'m currently working on a very,very impotant project details of which I'll share with u later.Nway,in order 2 meet my tight schedule,I've 2 get up at about 4:30am n put my mind 2 work.SLEEPY.I juss cldn't do it.I tried all tht I cld n still th earliest time I cld get up was about 6:00am.Th days were rushing by n chances of succeeding were rapidly shrinking.I swear I did all I cld.Of coz I'd valid,concrete alibis.I'd solid xcuses tht prevented me 4rm accomplishing my feat.Top of th list was my 3yr old lil sister who invaribly wakes up at about midnight n stays awake until about 3:00am.And during ths time she insist on playing with her favourite pal who z none other than,u guessed it,sister.Lemmi share with u a lil piece of wisdom.When u fall asleep at 3:00am,very few thngs on earth can wake u up at 4:30am.Certainly my alarm clock was not 1 of those.Th moment th alarm goes on,I simply reach out n turn th noisy thng off n still continue 2 njoy my sleep-uninterrupted.TH ANSWER.'m sure u agree with me tht I'd done totaly,absolutely,completely,creatively evrythng tht I cld.Right?Wrong,very wrong.I'd hardly scratched th surface.Then it finally hit me like a tonne of bricks.I was cruising 4 a serious bruising so I slammed on th brakes.

Once upon a tym th colours of th world started 2 quarrel.O claimed tht they were th best.Th most important,th most useful,th favourite Green said,"I'm th sign of lyf n hope.I was chosen 4 grass,trees n leaves".Blue interrupted,"Consider th sky n th sea.It's th water tht's th basis of lyf".Yellow chuckled,Without me there'd b no fun".Orange started blowing her trumpet,I'm th colour of health n strength.I'm precious 4 I serve th needs of human lyf".Red shouted out,I'm th ruler of u o.I'm th colour of danger n bravery.I'm th colour of passion n luv".Purple rose n spoke with great pomp."I'm th colour of royalty n power.Kings,chiefs n bishops 've oways xhosen me 4 I'm th sign of authority n wisdom".Finally Indigo spoke mo quietly than th othas but with much dedtrmination."I'm th colour of silence.U hardly notice me.I represent thot n reflection,twilight n deep water".Th colours went on boasting,each convinced of his/her own superiority.Suddenly Rain began 2 speak,"U foolish colours,fighting amongst yoselves dn't u knw tht u were each made 4 a special purpose,unique n different.Th colours started 2 unite.Rain continued,4rm now on when it rains,each of u'll stretch across th sky in a great bow of colour as a remainder tht u can o live in peace.Tht was th 4mation of a rainbow n whenever a good rain washes th world,n a rainbow appears in th sky lets remember 2 appreciate 1 another.
