About me

Well I guess I should start off with the fact that I have a beautiful wife named Lesa and 2 wonderful Kids Logan 16 and Miranda 12 who I will no doubt talk about a bit on here.

My work

As for my work, well lets just say I work for one of the largest independant privately owned communications companies in the midwest (USA). We are currently switching from a copper plant to all fiber plant. That means we are in the process of putting a piece of fiber optic cable to every home in our serving areas. About 35,000 homes will have access to a minimum of 20meg broadband service as well as digital hdtv, phone and security services. It's a very large and expensive undertaking that will take several years to complete.
I work mainly on the telephone switching equipment and the our fiber transport/backbone equipment.
