I've tried to do that with women at bars, to no avail...

Nerak 30. March 2009, 22:06

If I was hungry before, I'm definitely not now. :eyes:

Do they know that you've publicly humiliated them?.
This is the main reason I don't drink anymore. :insane:.

Nerak 5. April 2009, 01:45

:sst: Sarah's avatar is flippin' adorable.

You mean we're not supposed to humiliate family like this? :left: I've got some deleting to do. :right:

Tabmartel 27. April 2009, 08:58

It isn't me who publicly humiliated them! My God, they did this in front of over 200 people! They are quite capable of public humiliation without my assistance! LOL.

Even then, I have no issues with publicly humiliating my brothers!
They would jump on the opportunity to do so to me! The only one who sees that side of me is mugs, and I've bribed him with certain offerings to never ever speak of such Silly "Tabism's"

Nerak 27. April 2009, 09:22

Are you back on for good now? I've missed the heck out of ya'.

noah counte 27. April 2009, 11:34

*ahem* "Certain offerings." I can see you are an effective negotiator.

Tabmartel 27. April 2009, 13:43

Absolutely Matthew!

I can't get the INTERNET, nobody fricken knows what's up with it!
I think I have figured something out though, and I'm going to look into it when I return home Wednesday.

If she didn't already, your sister in law now definately knows what she married into :D

red hair runs in the family.

Yes I noticed that, too. Scottish or Irish blood?

Tabmartel 28. April 2009, 12:22

Irish. Second gerneration canadian heritage.

My grandparents both relocated to Canada as children.
My fathers side dates back to my great grand parents coming to Canada from Ireland.

daxonmacs 28. April 2009, 12:44

You can't go wrong with Irish blood in yer veins. :D

Tabmartel 28. April 2009, 12:47

Thanks

As a woman I love having red hair, as a child I loathed it!

I'm quite proud to be a Canadian woman of Irish decent.

This image of my grandparents (maternal side) is 80 years old. My aunt had it repaired, and then Mugs fixed the fixable mistakes the person who repaired it made. It still needs some work, but I'm glad I get to have a copy of this image framed.

Your grandfather certainly has those typical Irish features.

And yet, I yearn for...

I blame it on my mother's choice to bottle feed me.

daxonmacs 28. April 2009, 15:17

That may have been your father's choice p:

Nerak 28. April 2009, 15:20

Wow...awesome picture!!!

Tabmartel 28. April 2009, 15:28

Thanks!:D

Those were the days when photos were hand-colored. Or coloured.

Tabmartel 28. April 2009, 16:17

Yes they were, this image however was black and white, and Mugs colored it as properly as possible, after the restorer botched it...

This image was taken the day before my Grandparents wedding day. The home in the background was their first home together. The house is still standing.

My grandfather passed away six years ago, on October 29th, at 96 years old, which makes having this picture extra special.

I've been spending a great deal of time with my Grandmother lately, as she is in her late 90's and needing a great deal of family assistance to her remain in her own home.

Nerak 28. April 2009, 16:40

You're welcome!

:frown: I'm sorry for the loss of Grandpa six years ago. 96 years old is amazing, though!

Hang in the Grandma! You can beat Grandpa's record!!!

noah counte 28. April 2009, 16:59
