L2D2 4. November 2009, 19:07

Amen. She has earned the right to kill herself if she wishes!

 She's so cute. :D

Tab 5. November 2009, 18:52

I know...She is adorable! (Not that I know who she is)

Karen 5. November 2009, 18:56

Well, we don't have to know who she is to think she's a cute little old lady! :D

Tab 5. November 2009, 19:08

True!

Thanks for asking about My Grandma's birthday :D

Karen 5. November 2009, 19:13

But, of course! I care about her, too! :D I mean, I've never met her or anything, but gosh...she's your Grandma!

Tab 5. November 2009, 20:30

She is a wonderful Grandma..I couldn't have asked for better.

Karen 6. November 2009, 01:06

 That's terrific!

Olga 9. November 2009, 09:35

There was one article in my English textbook at University about one granny who lived till she is 100 and smoked and drank... So you never know what is better...

Tab 9. November 2009, 10:58

Well I do not smoke, drink or partake in any kind of drugs, but at 100 if I'm still around maybe I'll make it a point to have a birthday smoke, with a tall glass of whiskey or something

L2D2 9. November 2009, 21:58

You'll have earned it if you choose to do so.

Tab 9. November 2009, 22:31

Ah well perhaps, but I believe my body is a temple..so I don't polute it with stuff it doesn't need.

God love her, I hope she makes it.

The oldest person in the world died this week. She was 114!

Karen 20. November 2009, 17:24

rip That's pretty flippin' amazing!

Tab 20. November 2009, 17:34

I think so too!
Imagine..she must have outlived her whole family!

Karen 20. November 2009, 17:37

I know! That's kinda sad in a way. Having to mourn so much in one lifetime. She probably outlived some if not all of her kids, too! :frown:

Tab 20. November 2009, 17:44

That's the worst.

As I wrote in one of my recent posts My mom in law lost a son @ 24 Y O to murder, and she lost a 3 month old girl to crib death...her husband died of cancer, then her boyfriend after that...
Aging isn't without heartache, yet we all want to grow old.

Karen 20. November 2009, 18:09

Yeah, I know. :frown:

But on the other hand, the reason we have heartache is because people impact our lives. I would much rather know someone who really makes an impact and end up losing them rather than never having met them at all.

Tab 20. November 2009, 18:12

Maybe...I have no (offline) friends left because my two best friends are dead, and it was hard on me, but I think I would rather be dead than lose one of my children.

Karen 20. November 2009, 18:13

Oh, yeah. Me too. I can't even think about that for more than 1/2 a second without tearing up! I never ever want to deal with that situation. :worried:
