I had to go into town to do my laundry at the laundramat yesterday, the kids had no school so Amanda, Matt and Jake came along.

I finished the laundry and we all crammed into the little Escort and headed home.

Suddenly Steph (kids dad) swerves into oncoming traffic on the 174.. Realizing what he had done he swerved back into the proper lane. I asked Steph what was up with that...and he said...

"I THOUGHT I SAW A MOUSE RUNNING ACROSS THE HIGHWAY!"..

"OK so you could have killed me and three children for a mouse!!

He looked at me and said...."Ya, wierd huh?"

The worst was that it wasn't a mouse at all...it was a wind swept leaf!!!

He can't accidently kill a mouse but plans on hunting next year!

I'm not adding you so just stop already.Halloween fun!

:lol: Big game hunter, I have a feeling, is going to have a big "FAIL"

I have been startled by leaves blowing across the street in front of me and thinking it was an animal. I jerk and swerve every time, although I KNOW not to do that!

I know he might get out there with a gun...but even if he does fire it, he's not going to kill anything but tree stumps. He has never even fired a gun..

Yeah I have swerved for animals as well (especially skunks)..but.still I had to make fun of him.

I have hit a few animals while driving and it always left a sick, horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. And does every time I think about it.

Oh dear oops P: Its a natural instinctal reaction to swerve from an apparent animal without thinking for human life isnt it weird.

I once ran over a big white dog one rainy night...but it was like he went under my car and not under the tire. So a few days later, I went back to check in that area and saw a big white dog playing with a brown dog...I assumed that was the one that went under my car. (or so I tell myself still today)
