of a mother of five!

Me :)

,

I can't sing...but I sing anyway, regardless of the protests.

I can't dance...but I dance anyway, ussually in my kitchen.

I can't spell but I don't let that stop me from writing.

I can't see very well but that doesn't stop me from looking.

I am the richest person I know even though I have no money.

Oh damn...a.wasp just walked accross my monitor.. What an amazing creature...too bad I have to kill it.
If it were a spider or a bee I'd leave it alone but I got stung by a wasp last week and it HURT..so I'm holding a grudge.

I know just what you're going through there. My sh*t don't smell, but I keep trying.

Well I don't know about your shit but...lmao

It's about being true to myself. Accepting my perfections and my flaws and making the most of it.

Matthew 13. September 2009, 02:56

I figure that it's people's flaws that make them worth knowing. If we were all perfect, perfection would be average, and we'd be bored silly.

Tab 13. September 2009, 03:14

I like being imperfect.
I appreciate learning from my mistakes.
I don't mind being corrected when I'm wrong.
I'm ok with knowing I'll never win a spelling bee.
I had this crazy dream as a young lady to be miss teen Canada..just to show everyone who teased me for being unattractive..but I never even tried, but as an adult "showing others" isn't what I'm about. If someone finds me unattractive that is their perogitive. If someone else finds me beautiful they are entitled to that opinion.

I've really gotten to know myself better over the past few years..and even more importantlly I've learned to like who I am and in that I am far more confidant.

A person's 30s is often a time of growth and self-acceptance, I think. It's certainly true of the women I've known. It makes them more beautiful people, too.

I'm less sure that it's true of men, though I had some glimmers in my late 30s.

Tab 14. September 2009, 12:06

That has certainly been true for me.

Matthew 14. September 2009, 14:16

I'm glad. Life gets dramatically better when you become
comfortable with yourself.

:eyes: I'm sitting here minding my own business when I'm slapped in the face with the image of Matthew's fecal matter.

Love the post...again!

Glad you love the post Karen! I'm kinda going in a different direction with my blog.

Karen 15. September 2009, 00:18

I see that, and I absolutely love it!
