The meaning of life is not 42

I cannot define his meaning of life for him but perhaps he will gain something from knowing what mine is.
The term meaning of life means that which provides meaning to life.
My meaning to life is not as simple as 42. The moment my newborn daughter wrapped her tiny premature fingers around my baby finger I knew that I would die to protect my child, who weighed no more than a pound of butter, if it was required of me.
I don't know if all new mothers feel this immense need to protect and care for their children, I just know that for me that moment was life altering for me.
I believe we can have more than one meaning of life. My God gives meaning to my life and my whole moral background is based upon what is expected of me by God. My beliefs shape the person I am.
My love, my friends, my pets, and nature are all aspects of the meaning of my life.
NOTE: The number 42 is not random. If you have not seen The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, I strongly reccomend this movie.

No movie ever captures the essence of a book adequately.

The question What is the meaning of life?
I would say is to live, but there are so many possibilities to this question, that it can have no one true answer

Nice post, once again. Some events do have a big and determining impact on our lives, don't they?

Yes indeed they do.
