How old is Amanda? That is a very cute picture. You should print an 8 x 10 of it.

Tabmartel 24. October 2009, 23:59

Thank you  Amanda is 16. Matt is 5. Amanda and Matt have a very close relationship.

You know thanks for the idea I will print 2 coppies..one for each of their bedrooms.

L2D2 25. October 2009, 00:07

Good stuff. They both are great looking kids.

Sick? You aren't pregnant again are you? :eyes:

Tabmartel 25. October 2009, 01:06

Nope...lol can't be...I am not capable of becoming pregnant anymore.

L2D2 25. October 2009, 01:56

I think that is probably a good thing for your body.

Tabmartel 25. October 2009, 02:20

It's my body that made the decition lol.

Because of my health pregnancy can't occur, and believe me I'm totally ok with that.

ellinidata 25. October 2009, 03:52

great looking kids you got Tab,
and you did for sure a great job of teaching them "love for family is above all'. By looking at the picture I feel tearing up. The body language and the peace in they faces, clearly shows that these two are deeply connected.
I would say Matt has a friend/sister 11 years older to love him and protect him for life

thanks for sharing Tab

PS
I hope you feel well soon Tab.

Nerak 25. October 2009, 06:41

:o: That's a terrific picture!

Tabmartel 25. October 2009, 09:33

Thanks.

How many more kids would I need for us to be the braidy bunch

I have always shown my children love, and in return they show it to each other.

Probably has a lot to do with being a stay at home mom.

:left: That wasn't me...but you're welcome nonetheless!

BTW - I agree with the whole being a stay-at-home Mom thing. My Mom worked. I was a "latch key kid." I HATED it. I remember clearly the day she got off work early when I was in 3rd grade. That's how much it meant to me to have her home when I got home.

From that day on, I vowed that if I ever had kids, I would do whatever I could to ensure that I would be at home with them. So far, my plan has worked out magnificently well!

Tabmartel 25. October 2009, 21:43

LOL Yes Karen I was refereing to your comment a few comments back..about it being a great picture...

I wouldn't hae had children if I were unable to stay home with them.
Kids bennifit so much more when mom stays home.

Nerak 25. October 2009, 22:12

Oooooh, okay! Homer: Doh!

Too true. I got pregnant with my son when I was a 17 year old Junior in high school, though. It wasn't exactly planned...I just got lucky with the being able to be home with him...and now his sister.

Tabmartel 25. October 2009, 22:41

It must have been so hard being a teen mom. I can't imagine how afraid you must have been. Goodness I was terrified at 21..then still terrified at 23. My thoughts when I got pregnant with Branden was...I love my little girl sooo much, how can I possibly love another child the same way. I learned very quickly just how limmitless love is!

Nerak 25. October 2009, 23:16

I was pretty freakin' scared for a while...but then once I knew I had the support of my parents - especially my Mom, I was able to relax a bit and enjoy the pregnancy & being a Mom.

My Mom was pretty amazing when I was pregnant. She won a $1000 shopping spree from a radio station, and she spent a good portion of it on baby stuff for Jameson. :o:

Bottom line is that my Mom drives me absolutely mad on a daily basis, but I love her to death and don't know what I'd do without her.

Sorry...didn't mean to go off again. I guess the conversation struck a nerve or something.

But yes - love is totally limitless! That's one of the perks of being a Mom. We get to learn more about life & love. Or at least, that's how I like to see it. :D

Tabmartel 25. October 2009, 23:38

Absolutely!
You are so lucky you have a supportive mom. My mom puts me down every chance she gets.

I love your babbles...they make me smile..so don't appologise for that.

I bought an xbox 360 last week and 10 games to go with it..Maybe now I'll do a bit of the gamer thing.

I have been feeling better, and just resting. I miss chatting with Mugs..and my Grandma, but it's been 3 weeks and this damned cold has to go!!

Nerak 25. October 2009, 23:48

Don't get me wrong...my Mom's pretty freakin' rude to me A LOT of the time. It's just that no matter how rude & nasty she can be, I still love her unconditionally. I think that's how it's supposed to be with Moms, though...unless they're overly abusive or something. Then, I can totally understand a lack of love.

H00ray for making you smile! You have a pretty smile, so I'm sure the people around you appreciate it. :D

I have a 360, too! Do you have XBox Live? If so, we could perhaps chat on there sometime...or if we have the same game, we can play together! :D That'd be so fun, huh?!

I'm so happy that you feel better! :o: I don't know how Mugs & you can stand to live apart like that. It would drive me nuts...I'm just not capable of doing that, I guess. I've always moved in with boyfriends or vice versa right away for some reason. Stupidity & naivety, I suppose. p:

Anyway, yeah...you can't get Grandma sick, so you're doing the right thing - no matter how wrong it feels. :frown: Once you're all better & can see her again, it'll be awesome. :D

Tabmartel 25. October 2009, 23:57

Nope I'm not sure how xbox live works, or what is needed.
I just got it, and it's hooked up to my 42" wall mounted TV. I can't believe the freakin graphics!

I haven't played it yet...the kids are freaking hogging it.

Already got the ring of death after unplugging it. Just shut it off and restarted it. It was fine after that. Am I doing something wrong?

I have kung fu panda and Lego Indiana Jones..because they came with it. I also have Demons May Cry, Ghost Recon, Halo 3, Some stupid monkey game that toally sucks @$$, Simpsons game...and a few others.
Igot them second hand at Videotron for 5 bucks each. Which is way cooler than 65 bucks each! :die:

Nerak 26. October 2009, 00:45

Well, XBox Live is a paid service. It hooks ya' to the Net so you can play w/ friends & whatnot.

The graphics......I KNOW! :headbang:

I have the Lego Indiana Jones/Kung Fu Panda set, too! :D

We got ours off of Craigslist...it had a shit-ton of games with it. Really good deal. It'd have cost A LOT more at the store.

Tabmartel 26. October 2009, 13:35

Yeah the built in games are wicked.
I paid 500$ for everything..including an extra wireless remote. Homer: Doh!

Nerak 26. October 2009, 21:15

We only paid $200 for ours and it came with two wireless controllers, games, and everything else!

Tabmartel 26. October 2009, 21:18

You can't beat that!!

Nerak 26. October 2009, 21:19

No way! :D
