Halloween fun!

, , , ,

This halloween I asked the kids to come up with their own costumes.

Danika decided to be a dead teenage boy...That was easy, some of her brothers clothes and makeup by Amanda.

Matthew wanted to be a clown. I think he's the cutest clown ever!

Jacob wanted to be a woman.
Amanda did his makeup and chose clothes for him from her wardrobe. He is wearing a pair of 1" heels, and having fun with that!

Amanda and Branden decided not to dress up this year. I think they have outgrown trick or treating.

I'm definately trick or treating this year. I'll be wearing a ball gown, makeup and a ruby coloured eye mask.
I plan on raking in all that candy goodness. YUM!

Happy halloween guys!

Killing me softly with his love (of mice!)Happy Halloween!

Happy helloween!!!!

Tabmartel 30. October 2009, 13:09

Thanks Olga, the kids I always have fun with Halloween!

Curious- do you celebrate Halloween?

Nerak 30. October 2009, 16:42

Yay! I'm so glad you put a picture up! :D

Have a wonderful Halloween with the kids!

Tabmartel 30. October 2009, 16:49

I can't wait to find out what they did at school today!

They were absolutely not getting on that bus until I had a picture for you Karen.

Nerak 30. October 2009, 16:52

Awww! :o: That's so sweet!

They don't let the kids dress up at school here. In Montana, where we used to live, they always dressed up for Halloween at school. Not here, though...they're big poopy heads about it.

Tabmartel 30. October 2009, 16:57

That royally sucks!

My kids have always dressed up at school..they have activities all day..and costume contests.

I hope Jake wins- I love his costume!

Nerak 30. October 2009, 16:59

 I love it, too! Takes a pretty secure kid to be a woman for Halloween! :D

Tabmartel 30. October 2009, 17:01

What you don't see is his tissue bewbs!

Dacotah 30. October 2009, 17:03

Nerak 30. October 2009, 17:03

 Are they an average size, or did he Dolly Parton himself up?! p:

Tabmartel 30. October 2009, 17:05

Well they had to fit my bra so he's a d34.

Nerak 30. October 2009, 17:09

Wow! :eyes: I didn't realize that you're built that large up top. He has a big set of knockers!

Unless, of course, the sizing is different there. I'm clueless about that sort of thing. All I know is that I'm a 34 C.

Tabmartel 30. October 2009, 17:18

34 is the circumferance around the body. The D is the same in Canada and the US.

Nerak 30. October 2009, 17:37

Right...okay then. You're just a cup size bigger than me. :D I'm sure Mugs has no complaints w/ that!

Tabmartel 30. October 2009, 17:41

Mugs is more interested in legs than bewbs. Great legs and short skirts are a prerequisite.

Nerak 30. October 2009, 18:03

Oh, that's right. I forgot about his affinity for legs. p:

I cannot imagine liking legs more than bewbs, but okay. To each their own! I just think bewbs are the best thing since coffee! :coffee:

L2D2 30. October 2009, 20:10

I got really upset with my son when he decided he was too old to trick or treat!. Hahaha. I didn't want the sweet's store to dry up.

L2D2 30. October 2009, 20:10

They all look cute.

Tabmartel 30. October 2009, 20:14

Thank you! Jacob and Matt both won first place!

They were completely stoked!

Dacotah 30. October 2009, 22:21

Hi, nice to see you too.

Tabmartel 31. October 2009, 00:00

Wonderful!!

Thank you so much for asking!

How are you?

Dacotah 31. October 2009, 01:29

Happy to hear that.

You are welcome.

Hanging in there.

Tabmartel 31. October 2009, 05:15

Are ya doing anything for Halloween?

Olgita 31. October 2009, 09:23

Actually... we don't have such holiday like Helloween....But people in Russia started to celebrate it about 10 years ago maybe.... We do have Helloween parties at clubs and bars now.

Dacotah 31. October 2009, 09:50

Tab, not that I know of. Destiny is to small to go.
Last year we only had 1 trick or treater.

Tabmartel 31. October 2009, 12:12

It's pouring rain here...and it's supposed to rain straight through the weekend.

I don't drive so I'm not sure how my kids are going to trick or treat.

What a bummer that is.

Tabmartel 31. October 2009, 12:13

Olga, that's interesting, thanks!

Dacotah 31. October 2009, 13:35

I hope the rain lets up for a few hours.
 I remember when my daughter was little and every Halloween we would get a blizzard. She would not stop for nothing. We walked and walked in the blizzards. Then when Halloween it beautiful out, no need for a jacket even. Well I said to her lets get ready to go. She said no. What? No? She said she didn't want to go. I told her what? I took you trick or treating through blizzards and now it's nice you don't want to go? Tuff, get dressed up, we are going. We only made it around the block and she quit. :faint:

Tabmartel 31. October 2009, 14:40

I guess trudging through all that snow was a bigger part of the fun for her than acctually collecting candy!

I don't know if we'll be trick or treating tonight. My kids have sore throats, and being out in the rain won't help.

Dacotah 31. October 2009, 14:44

Hope their throats feel better soon.
May-be you can give them an indoor costume party. Just you and them.

Tabmartel 31. October 2009, 15:23

We're sort of doing that.

I'm going to rent a halloween appropriate movie for the kids, and light the wood stove...and eat home made salt and vinigar potato chips if the rain hasn't let up by 5pm.

Dacotah 31. October 2009, 16:58

AnitaMargita 8. November 2009, 22:33

Cool costumes!

Congrats on Jacob and Matt's victory! :D

Tabmartel 8. November 2009, 22:46

Thanks Anita! It made them very happy!
