25 July 2007, Gary, Cate, and I spent the day wandering Canandaigua. On a whim, I directed my hubby to drive up West Lake Road, not remembering how far up my old childhood camp was. I recall reading it had been turned into a town park. It was lovely, we swam and then Cate and I wanded up the glen and went glen sliding like I did as a camper. It was truly beautiful.

DE Beach -- The Day After The Crowds Went Home

Today I wandered down to the beach where I had worked as a Lifeguard the last two summers. Yesterday was its final day of the year. Today it was combed and cleaned and groomed and finalized and put to bed. There are some parting shots. It was fun. I'll miss everybody.
