"Slide" seems to be a popular slideshow application for many myspace users, so below is the result of my brief play with it. The photo archives of Gt Yarmouth I used were easily transferred from a set on my Flickr account but it was then quite a laborious task having to delete about 35 photos individually. I did like the fact that the background music is shown as a small overlayed video on the slideshow, however, this does seem to have it's drawbacks in that the combination of playing both the video and the slideshow takes up a lot of the computers' processing power. This makes it difficult to match up the length of the slideshow with the length of the background music video because the speed of your slideshow seems to be very much dependant on your computer's processor speed/amount of RAM. I think I'll leave this web application to the younger generation to whom this seems to be targeted.
