This gesture manager is horrible, it should be 'select action, click edit, perform gesture' and your done.

Alternatively edit the mouse .ini file directly.
In Linux it's in:
~/.opera/mouse/
Much clearer IMHO. The only thing I generall change is to switch the default GestureDown to open in a new tab to GestureUp which matches the Firefox All-In-One-Gestures plugin.
Here's what the file looks like - very clear and simple:
Opera Preferences version 2.1
; Do not edit this file while Opera is running
; This file is stored in UTF-8 encoding
[INFO]
NAME=Opera Standard (Modified)
[Application]
GestureLeft=Back
GestureLeft shift=Rewind
GestureLeft, GestureDown=Rewind
GestureRight=Forward | Fast forward
GestureRight shift=Fast forward
GestureRight, GestureUp=Fast forward
GestureUp, GestureDown=Reload
GestureUp, GestureLeft=Go to parent directory
GestureUp, GestureRight=Maximize page, 1 | Restore page, 1
GestureDown, GestureLeft=Minimize page, 1 | Restore page, 1
GestureDown, GestureRight=Close page, 1
GestureRight, GestureLeft, GestureRight=Close page, 1
GestureUp=Open link in new page | New page
GestureDown, GestureUp=Open link in background page | Duplicate page
FlipBack=Back
FlipBack shift=Rewind
FlipForward=Forward | Fast forward
FlipForward shift=Fast forward
Button6=Back
Button7=Forward

I just want to edit pressing the right mouse button and scroll up the mouse wheel opera switch/cycle to the tab on the right next to the actual one.
It don't work and neither google nor a forum for opera users gives a hint.

I'd like to add:
Press left + scroll wheel: Zoom in/out (like control + scroll wheel)
or:
Press left + Press middle: Zoom in
Press right + Press middle: Zoom out
Is any of this possible?
BTW: what are Button6 and Button7?
THX a lot!

(I've tried "Leftbutton + Button3", "Leftbutton & Button3", "Leftbutton, Button3". and as you said, none of them worked...)

WTF! I could not disable this FAST ENOUGH! What an annoying thing for a browser to do...

New browser window, Go to page, "http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en"

Hi,
I must say that I was pretty much pleasently surprised by Bajrang Bali's picture.

They are handy for zooming, and I don't fancy adding keyboard keys to MOUSE gestures.

Is there a way go change "stop" (which is pretty useless since pages load instantly nowadays) from gesture up, to a "go to speedial" command? You know, without going to speedial page 1, 2, 3, and so on, just the speedial page that list all the...speedials?

Hey Tamil, not sure if you know the answer to this, but this has been bugging me since I started using Mouse Gesutres.
Now the program is pretty good about letting you know what kind of actions you can perform since it autofills the box with suggestions, but the help is very vague about general syntax.
Apparently you can use "&" to combine actions? I noticed you can use "," to make longer gestures, and apparently shift can be used as well, but what exactly does "flip" mean. I don't know what "FlipBack" does for example. Also I see you can use "buttons" but what else can be used that perhaps is not mentioned?
Tamil # 6. July 2009, 09:02
Hold right button and click left button. By default, flipback gesture will go to previous page.

Hello. I need to put mouse cursor over the link and somehow copy the link address into the clipboard. Mouse button would be preferable (any button).
Anonymous # 6. July 2009, 09:05
I mean put mouse not in the address bar but right in the page over the thumbnails which have their own links.

Is there any way to copy link address into the clipboard?
When I put mouse cursor over the link and press Alt+Ctrl+C it doesn't work either.

So it's not possible to highlight necessary link with a mouse? It's much simpler than working with q and a.
Thanks.

If you really want there is an open source application called "Strokeit!" that allows mouse gestures for ALL applications, kinda like a plugin: http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/
I use it to run programs, send keystrokes to various applications, run common utilities such as minimise and always on top. It's really useful and speeds up your desktop. You can assign global commands and ones for individual applicatons and even create your own gestures by drawing the symbols.
See "http://eatwebsig.ning.com/video/mouse-gestures-using-strokeit" for a tutorial I put together on it. You can have mouse gestures assigned for opera, firefox, IE, and your windows explorer.
