Is it able to modify the physical button to look like the one in the picture or is doing that left as an exercise for the reader?

I'm not sure, if it's a good idea to associate „Opera” with „lock”. wink

Suntana Sunday, November 28, 2010 2:53:57 PM

Hey, Tamil, there seems to be something odd going on.
While in YOUR Blog, my Drop Down Menus from "Suntana ..." "Community ..." and "Opera" don't stay up. I can't click on anything in them because they disappear before I can click on any links in there. What's up? Is that by design? Or is it a glitch that just started? Or what?

Good idea, but not for me - in my case, Opera is in the taskbar all the time and it's easily accessible, unlike e.g. my audio player, which sits hidden in the system tray and for which I use one of the extra keys on my keyboard.

Like "apple" and "garden"? Worry not.

Useful feature methinks.

@Suntana: Works fine for me.

bmhv Monday, November 29, 2010 2:16:11 PM

well... I'm using an A4Tech G800 keyboard, which enables you to switch Caps Lock with Ctrl button, so what'll happen if I use this function while switching my keys ?

Martin JosefssonMartin23 Monday, November 29, 2010 2:23:15 PM

Why not make the "Windows button" (or "Super-key" as it is called in Linux) to Opera button!smile

Suntana Monday, November 29, 2010 2:29:17 PM

It's still doing it, Tamil. Weird.

If I conduct 10 or 12 consecutive quick attempts, I can get one of them to finally allow a Drop Down Menu to stay up and allow me to click on one of the links. And that's only if I jerk the Cursor down very quickly and land on one of the links.

Oh well. I guess I'll just have to chalk it off to it being some NEW MyOpera glitch.

Aleksander AasAleksander Monday, November 29, 2010 2:46:10 PM

There was some server issues, but they have been solved now!

Probably, Opera Launcher won't interfere.

It is shortcut for Windows start menu.

Same with me. And I had the same problem on my own new design when I was rewriting some css of the topbar. But now it's allright on my own blog. I have a nice blue color in the dropdown menu's.

Suntana Monday, November 29, 2010 4:36:49 PM

Clicking on Reload didn't fix it.
I then brought up my Opera Portable and that did the same thing.
Oh well. I won't clog up this thread.
I'll see if the problem clears up in the next couple of days.

Personally, I have made something similar to this one using Autohotkey (with no configuration window) but I used F1 instead of CapsLock. Then, I turned Shift+F1 to work as F1.
Do you often use F1 for getting help? Do you know any application that uses Shift+F1 shortcut? idea

max1c Monday, November 29, 2010 11:59:42 PM

I thought this has been known long ago. ;\
What I used to do is: create Opera short cut -> right click it -> In "Shortcut key" press "`" or any other button you would like to have it on and use it that way. But ever since Windows 7 I keep Opera shortcut on the launch bar, so no need for keyboard short cut p

    content: url(http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/MonkeyComputer.gif);
    padding-left: 4px;
    display: inline-block;
    vertical-align: middle;
}

Do I do that for each person individually?

Tamil Tuesday, November 30, 2010 8:31:04 AM

The following line is for username.
.comment-by a[href='/Tamil/']:after {

The following line is for smiley URL.
