after installing opera again i know what my problem was.i'm stupid smile.somehow i changed the default adress of speed dial engine which was "http://www.google.com/search?q=%s&sourceid=opera&num=%i&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest" in "http://www.google.com"...also my english is not so good...if see mistakes.

Hi Tamil, ive tried using Operas word search on here but it doesn't seem to be working so forgive me if i repeat something someone else has asked.
How can i add Gibiru to my search engine list ? i have added it but it does nothing so im presuming i need extra characters on the end of my link, at the moment i have http://gibiru.com/index.php/home

Change the address of the search engine to the following. 
http://gibiru.com/index.php/home?cx=partner-pub-5956360965567042%3A4918796668&cof=FORID%3A11&ie=UTF-8&q=%s


BTW you can Google instead of Gibiru as it shows only results from Google.

Default search engines, speed dials and bookmarks: The User can only change the search engines, speed dials and bookmarks as allowed by the user interface, and any forced alterations including by the means of external applications, are prohibited. Any such forced alterations may be restored to the default Opera settings.

How did you change default SpeedDial search?

Anonymous writes: I can confirm that "bug" in version 12.15 - if it is one and not a "feature", paid by GOOGLE ;) For now I downgraded to 10.14 (you can find that version on filehippo.com). If this "GOOGLE bug" is going to stay in the next "fix" I have to say "adios" to my beloved Opera, which would be very very sad story as it's my default browser for about 15 years. Change log for 12.15: Fixed an issue where the search bar's default engine could be overridden by third-party apps. ;) (kind of fixed but very bad implemented - IMO)
