- modifying action for keyboard shortcut, F11
- modifying right click full screen menu item action Enter fullscreen | Leave fullscreen under [Document Popup Menu]
- creating a new mouse gesture in Application section
| Full screen with | Action code for keyboard shortcut or mouse gesture! | Button# | |

| Tab bar | Leave fullscreen | Enter fullscreen & View page bar, 6 | Full Screen | Full Screen |

! If you want scroll bar in full screen mode, add & Delay, 10 & Enable scroll bars to the end of action code.
# To add, drag & drop button to a toolbar and accept confirmation message.
- Opera won't show address bar and status bar in inactive tabs.
- It is not possible to show panel toggle at the edge of the window in full screen mode.

I use the latest version:Full Screen
And if it is possible to add another column to the table: with Show panel toggle as a Web panel? (Button with function panels - key F4)
Maybe this should be done through Command Creator?

Not the entire panel, only a thin strip, which include / exclude panels. Some users use it (sometimes I) instead of key-F4
My idea was, full screen mode to be used for permanent work in Opera. For example, my work monitor is very small (14") and this mode is preferable.
When I want to use a function of the Desktop (and taskbar),I placed in Status bar, this button: Show Desktop

I also tried, but this option does not work. This is not so important, will be used F4.
Thanks Tamil! In Your blog,I always learn new things.

I noticed the following:
1. Open in normal mode tab -1,2,3,4 last active tab-5
2. Give regime Full Skreen = View page bar + View address bar + View status bar + Sroll bars
3. Tab-5 is OK, but tab-1,2,3,4 - they lack Addres bar and Scroll bar
4. Continue to open under the Full Skreen new tab - 6,7,8 ... they are OK
Is it possible to fix this problem with tab-1, 2,3,4?

The tiny triangle-toggle is (I think) part of the window's chrome, so it can't be got in full-screen mode.

My start menu auto-hides and I would like to be able to bring it up when dragging the mouse down to it. Anyone have any idea how this can be accomplished while in fullscreen?
This problem also occurs in Explorer's fullscreen so it is not specifically an Opera issue, but an XP issue, I think.
Thanks for the help and the button.
EDIT: I stand corrected. When I open a link in a new tab, even if a scrollbar is warranted, it does not appear in that new tab when in fullscreen.

I am also noticing more tab related issues with the button:
opera:/button/Leave%20fullscreen,,,,%20Enter%20Fullscreen%20%3E%20Enter%20fullscreen%20&%20View%20page%20bar,%206%20&%20View%20address%20bar,%206%20&%20Delay,%2010%20&%20Enable%20scroll%20bars
Certain sites, such as wikipedia, do not load properly when in fullscreen. Switching out of full normalizes the site.
Some sites load without the address bar, scroll bar, or both even though the button is designed to load both. Just thought you may want to know.

But lots of things are disabled in Kiosk mode...
(It's a good idea to have -say- a keyboard shortcut or mouse gesture to, at least, give you the menu bar!)

edit: the Unix switch fullscreen does the job! (That was simple... Just select the Properties for the shortcut and add the switch /fullscreen to the Target field.)
Full screen pic: Status bar from browser pop-up menu; buttons for panels, etc. on it.

I would like to see the tab bar and the adress bar only, but without entering full screen mode. This is because I still like to get notifications from other programs while surfing. So the bar where "file - edit - view - etc" stands and the one with the symbols to minimize & close Opera should be invisible. Is that possible?

Would it be possible to make Opera start in fullscreen mode, retaining all toolbar setup ?
confession: Its the only thing I fancy about Chrome.

Im having opera v9.02.
any similar experience & solutions on this:
The page contents loads only by restarting the browser a lot of times by using windows task manager>process & starting opera using the previous sites visited.

I want to restore the behavior that all toolbars disappear in fullscreen mode and reappear in normal windowed mode, how can I get this back?
I'm using eeebuntu 3 (which is ubuntu 9.04) w/LXDE (instead of default gnome) on an asus eeepc 1000.
I restored defaults in opera6.ini:
Keyboard Configuration=/usr/share/opera/ini/unix_keyboard.ini
Toolbar Configuration=/usr/share/opera/ini/standard_toolbar.ini
but still no good... what have I missed??

I did restart, reboot, etc.
HOWEVER, I did make a discovery; this is unique to the LXDE window manager. On Gnome, F11 works as expected. But, as I prefer LXDE, this is still a problem.
I think the key would be to somehow hard-code the desired behavior in a manner similar to the custom examples above, but I do not know the proper syntax.

Hey Tamil, I've got one problem here:
When I start with Opera Launcher, I chose to start and automatically use F11, making Opera to go fullscreen. I got the settings for tab and navigation bar at fullscreen, but when I first start opera (with the launcher), it opens a tab that I were navigating, or a blank one (if I had no sessions to open), but without the navigation bar.
How to solve this problem?
Thanks!
