If you install Opera (Classic installer) without administrator rights in a different folder and this will work.

I am glad I've visited this site. It's interesting and quite usefull.
I've downloaded Universal Extractor, tried to download Adobe Flash Player, but haven't succeded.
I followed your instructions and am not certain, whether righly or not.
I seem to have done everything correctly, but the Flash Player does not appear anywhere.
I.m sure to visit you once again.

Thanks in advance.

You can install Opera using classic installer without administrator privileges or use PortableOpera.

do computers with xp automatically come with java on them?

It depends upon service pack.

I really don't understand why it doesn't work ? (I use opera usb)

Tamil 2. July 2008, 10:39

Did you place it in correct directory?

Close Opera, open opera6.ini and delete [File Types] section and start Opera.

Thanx for that quick answer :) Well, it doesn't works too...

You don't need permission to write in Program Files folder.

Check Plugin Path.

It's blank. After I save the location and I restart opera it's blank again... But in the opera6.ini it's well defined.

Tamil 2. July 2008, 11:17

Close Opera, open opera6.ini, add the following (change path) under [File Types] section and start Opera.
application/futuresplash=6,,C:\Opera\Program\Plugins\NPSWF32.dll,Shockwave Flash,spl,|Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124
application/x-shockwave-flash=6,,C:\Opera\Program\Plugins\NPSWF32.dll,Shockwave Flash,swf,|Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124

The two only plugins detected are Shockwave for Director and Silverlight, one in System32 and the ohter in Program Files.

I don't know why it is not working for you.
