How to install flash player without administrator privilege for Opera?

, , , , , , , , ,

  1. Download Adobe Flash Player (size 2.66 MB).
  2. Download Universal Extractor binary archive (size 4.95 MB), extract contents and run UniExtract.exe.
  3. Drag & drop flash player installer inside Archive/Installer to extract, press OK and again press OK.
  4. Move NPSWF32.dll from MAINDIR directory inside Universal Extractor Destination directory to program\plugins inside Opera installation directory.

[or]

Download NPSWF32.zip (size 7.45 MB, version 11.7.700.202), unzip NPSWF32.dll and place it inside program\plugins inside Opera installation directory.

You can check flash version at version test for Adobe Flash Player page.

Adobe flash player won't work if plugins directory is on a network drive.

Get a faster browser, download Opera

Try Opera or Opera Mini to see the difference.

I have tried and tried and tried and I cannot get Flash to work with the latest version of Opera. I have downloaded it from you here and put it in the plugins directory but it still doesn't work. Help?

Check path to Shockwave Flash in opera:plugins page and make sure it is not disabled.

Tamil Thursday, November 1, 2012 3:01:21 PM

  1. Start the installer and click on "Options"
  2. Change "Install path" to a location you have write access to (do not use "Program Files") and make a suitably named new folder e.g. "Opera"
  3. Change "Install for" to "Stand-alone installation (USB)"
