I joined the My Opera community on 2004-09-15 and it was my first online community site . Over the years, I have learned so much from here about Opera & several other things , got a lot of friends of different ages (14-67 years) from all over the world and won several prizes from Opera Software .

I was one of the Member Of The Week (MOTW) and I was banned for a day .

Thanks to Opera Software and all friends for the kindness and support .

You're a gift to the community, and from what I know of you, a gift to mankind as well.

The percentage increase in members compared to previous year is steadily decreasing. In 2008, the number of members joined in a month is almost same as in 2007 except months of January, February, May, June, November & December.

We will reach 2 million members within fortnight and will cross 3 million members before the end of 2009.

1. Where can I change password for my account?
   You can change password by clicking Change your password here link below Edit profile in Preferences.
   Click My account link at top and then Password link.


2. How can I change my nickname?
   Post your request in Change nick thread after checking its availability.

   We no longer change usernames unless it contain any illegal characters. If your username contain any illegal characters which breaks HitsLink, Opera Link, etc. (or any other future services implemented on My Opera) we will change it.



3. How can I add JavaScripts to my blog?

4. How to add a web counter to my blog?
   Javascripts are not allowed in Opera blog. Add HTML code of a counter in a new blog post and make it as Sticky post. You can get free invisible HTML counters from statcounter.com


5. How can I customize my blog?

6. How can I delete a forum in a group?
   It is not possible to delete a forum but you can hide it by making access only to moderators.


7. How to search in a particular blog?
   Use Google search with site option. Example: site:my.opera.com/Tamil/blog/ <Search Term>
   Use blog search on side bar.


8. How can I delete my account?
   Delete your blog, photos, files and edit your Personal information you don't want to leave here with fake information & log out or request to delete account.


9. I can't edit my profile/preferences.

14. I uploaded a new avatar, but it's not showing.
    Opera caches images. You either need to right-click on your avatar and select Reload image or Open image and then press F5.

    63 MB.
