Kdict + Moby Thesaurus + Wordnet will provide all of the above for Linux (kdict on its own still gives you the spelling correction and definition)

I had not appreciated that one had to select the Copy of opera standard menue to activate it, I thought it was active when created.
I learn something every day.
It's a pity it's so complicated to do these things it would be far better if there was GUI and the scripts could be imported and activated directly from there.
Thanks Tamil

"No Registered Application for this extension"
Where have I gone wrong? I placed Item, WordWeb = Copy & Execute program, "C:\Program Files\WordWeb\wwnotray.e"
In the OperFly menu.ini
Using opera 9.62 and the new Opera 10
OS is Vista Home Premium.
John.

Item, WordWeb = Copy & Execute program, "C:\Program Files\WordWeb\wwnotray.exe"
when I zoomed in to 110% I could see the whole of the above text that needed to be paste into menu.ini

It has a search function, unlike standard Windows Notepad, and highlights certain parts of the script making everything just that little bit easier.
