.net & .org address completion in Opera

,

Opera 9 introduced .com address completion by pressing CTRL+ENTER.

You can complete .net by pressing SHIFT+ENTER & .org by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER by adding two more keyboard shortcuts.

If you don't know how to add keyboard setup see How to add/edit keyboard shortcuts in Opera?

In AdvancedAddress Dropdown Widget add the following.

Enter shift = Autocomplete server name, "http://www", "net"
Enter ctrl shift = Autocomplete server name, "http://www", "org"

How to hide tab bar when there is a single tab in Opera? How to hide/move panel selector in Opera?

You know what's really irritating? When Opera offers autocomplete suggestions, I'm used to just hitting tab to pick the first one and then pressing enter to go there. That's the way it works in Firefox; in Opera, hitting tab takes me to the search box. Any known workarounds for that?

I want to hit tab too... like every other browser in the world that realizes tab is located conveniently, whereas up and down arrows are not something that can be accessed in 60 wpm.

In my opinion this makes opera unusable.

I was able to go to Preferences->Shortcuts->Edit->Advanced->Address Dropdown Widgets.

Here there is "Down" -> "Next Item", so when I add "Tab -> "Next Item", they of course do different things. Down does what I want, and tab selects the Most recent item from the list after de-alphabetizing (ignoring my input).

Bravo Opera!!!

Change "Tab -> Next item" to "Tab -> Next line" and it works.
