Opera Bookmarks Description Remover

Huge bookmarks file will affect the performance of Opera. Opera Bookmarks Description Remover was created using AutoHotkey to reduce bookmarks file size by removing descriptions.

Download (size < 210 KB), unzip and run OBDR.exe.

  • Backup of original bookmarks file will be created inside bookmarks directory with bak extension.
  • Silent mode will remove all bookmarks description without any prompt.

It is possible to remove descriptions using good text editor with full regular expression support.

Can you do any tricks for operamini? =o}
I renamed most of my bookmarks as I saved, but if there's a search engine on their page I create an opera-search and hide them there. Saving pages I use over and over is my other method. It'd be groovy if they put a direct-thru button on people's personal page to their Hitslink, instead of going to >account>statistics>log in>password...

Mmm, I do. It lets me straight in with the phone cookie. But why not have an automatic straight thru from everyone's page. Save cluttering my little 240x320,

I could add a hyperlinked dot somewhere in a sticky post, i suppose. Could do with a blank html active panel on the blog sidebar to put messages on. Everything has to go into the sticky post which people don't see when they come from a search engine - (unless it's directed them by a tag link.)
It'd be nice to have it properly sticky and show with every individual post.
