I'm curious - has any type of study, even rudimentary, been done correlating the increased availability of internet access, particularly broadband access, around the world with the increase in the Opera community?

That might seem silly, but think about it - would you upload many MB's of photo's over dial-up? Probably not...

Those are certainly impressive numbers. I was wondering, though, how many forum members are actually active, as opposed to members who signed up, made a post or two, and were never seen again. Any stats available about that?

I didn't mean to badmouth the forum stats. Actually, I use a few other forums with relatively high member counts but relatively few posts, so I think the percentage of active members might be higher than average here. That's why I asked about it, sheer curiosity... smile
