Tamil Wednesday, September 9, 2009 4:11:00 PM

From right side, 2nd button to hide Opera title bar and 3rd button to enable/disable content blocker.

I have to make a couple minor background replacements to make it work with my OS, but that's the usual. Now I have a new favorite skin. Thanks for the great work Tamil!

Fantastic work. Would you consider a write up on how to modify the speed dial, so it is as yours is, in another skin?

Maybe you use multiple displays? Because thats how I can't see menu.

First I reported about it on Opera Desktop Team's blog, because I forgot that I use a custom skin doh
Here is the link http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/2009/09/10/moar-bilds?startidx=50#comment10154897 to my coment.

There is a screenshot in there for you, Tamil.

Speed dial backgrounds? Sure, that's easy - http://my.opera.com/community/opera/wallpapers/info/?id=2041
but looks nicer as wallpaper.

Tamil Monday, December 28, 2009 11:31:50 PM

yes You have to add the following under [Pagebar Button Skin.attention] and [Pagebar Thumbnail Button Skin.attention] in skin.ini inside zipped skin file.
Text Color = #ffdf53

Unregistered user Tuesday, December 29, 2009 1:36:40 AM

Connor writes: Tamil, your knowledge of Opera is really impressive - it works! One little thing: I am using the "Sea" colour scheme and the attention colour #ffdf53 is light blue and not yellow, like in the standard colour scheme. Is there any way to make it yellow when using the Sea scheme, too? Many thanks, Connor

Tamil Tuesday, December 29, 2009 2:20:43 AM

You have to find color by trial.

That's good to hear, though the default skin is a lot slimmer than in past versions. Its personal bar is way too thick though, really ruining it for me. Can you provide any guidance to fix that manually as a stopgap? 10.5 is probably months away.

rseiler Monday, February 22, 2010 7:35:00 AM

I'll try it out, thanks. Looking forward to your next version.

rseiler Tuesday, March 2, 2010 9:15:33 PM

Yes, some of us are waiting for 10.51 anyway, but a slim skin may make me jump early.

One thing I noticed with the personal bar: when it's enabled in its normal location, you also get the title bar. I suppose that's not a skin thing, but it would be great if it was. It just doesn't look right on the bottom, which is really the only other plausible choice.

And as long as the title bar is back, you might as well have the menu bar back, too. Suddenly, you're looking at 10.1 again.

Hi!

Maybe you can help me. I've found a bug, which should be a feature :]
If I turn on this skin: http://my.opera.com/community/customize/skins/info/?id=8896 and after this change the tablist to top (they are on the right side by default for me), then change back to right side, and change the skin to the opera standard it became a nice thin thing. You can see a picture about that here: http://files.myopera.com/alternatiwe/files/opera_tabs.png
The only problem is: it's change back if I restart Opera.
Can you help me to make it state permanently?
