Nice guide, there.

Usually, I prefer the simpler method of installing in C:\Opera, and enabling individual profiles (they go in the directory that you're installing Opera into anyway). That really helps when other people want to use Opera, so it only has to be installed ONCE.

A good administrator will not give rights to Create Files / Write Data and Create Folders / Append Data in root directory. Also it will be easily seen by administrator.

You can give access rights to everyone for Opera folder.

You can install most of the programs without admin rights. Select a different path other than C:\Program Files\

Hiya Tamil,
Any updates on this issue (installing without admin rights) for Opera 9.5? Tried it at work today and it complained about requiring admin privileges, whereas 9.2x installs fine.
Cheers,
Sandgroper

Did you try classic installer?

Was just about to post that I'd found it... seems they hid it a bit better than I remembered, you need to go to "Show other versions", select OS, "all languages 9.5", then select classic installer. Thanks mate :D
