follower of the Brahma Kumaris since 10 years, it is not a cult but it has designed the priciples to lead a great life and the direct preachings of God who is a point of light but ocean of virtues and powers, it is very interesting subject but it takes time to get adjusted, and it depends upon your acceptance. Mainly it depends on the person's attitude. It is a great organisation which transformed my life.

Yea I agree it isn't a cult per se but it does have a very restrictive life style. I saw what was written about the life style in www.brahmakumaris.info and http://bkwsuwatch.com/ and boy did it open my eyes. I think I will still to regular yoga and a short meditation afterwards.:-)

Yeh, the chicks at http://www.brahmakumari.info have really broken the Brahma Kumaris' charade.
What you believe is your own business, as long as you don't stuff it down others folks throats or abuse kids really ... I just don't know about the Brahma Kumaris. They seem to operate like some secret society scurrying around the Halls of Power and sucking up to VIPs with all sort of front organizations. Its hard to know who they are today, Brahma Kumaris, Self Management Leadership, Living Values Education ... they seem obsessed with power.
The problem with the Brahma Kumaris is that they are so damned secretive and I am grateful for the ex-BKs and concerned current members that just got sick of it all and blew it wide open so everyone can see inside. I mean, if they think god is using them to bring on the End of the World, may be the rest of us ought to have a say in it?
The bottomline is they have some channelled entity entering and speaking through their mediums that they think is god of all religions. Just wait until Islam finds that one out. The "Destruction" is nigh ... again ... and 6 Billion are going to be killed by a nuclear holocaust so that they, the chose ones, can come back as be Emperors and Empresses in heaven on earth.
If you want to be one of them, you have to surrender you mind, body and wealth to their holy spook. Or at least the leaders on behalf of the holy spook. They have a polish exterior but inside in it medieval. If ever one of these guys come on to you with their sales pitch about peace of mind, just remember they think the world is only 5,000 years old and Dinosaurs existed 2,50 years ago ...
