Normally, with Menu enabled, Alt will focus on menu.
IE7 has menu hidden by default, appearing only when you hit Alt, then disappearing after your made a selection or switched focus elsewhere.
I would DEARLY LOVE that feature back from IE7

BUT I assigned enable/disable menu bar to a key that is otherwise unused - the ` key above tab - so it is just a single keystroke to show/hide the menu bar instead of a key combo like alt-F11. THAT worked.
How does that sound?
Yeah thinking about it, it would be good to have alt be a shortcut to that menubar toggle button because when the menu bar itself is disabled, alt does nothing at all...

Everything works fine....but instead of showing "Menu" button in opera, i got a "Enable menu bar" button. How can I rename this to "Menu" only? Can I use any icon instead of the text button....?

A little question: is it possible to open compact menu with a shortcut, like Alt+M? :-)
Thanks in advance :-)

thanks again, that's exactly why i came this time, or more accurately can i assign a shortcut for a specific button ? the menu would be better to be shown next to the button rather than in the center, it is ok for me but i am looking for the best looking way to recommend it to other users.actually i come here frequently but i always find what i was looking for (like this time), so i don't ask, but this time i have two questions:
1: how do you know about opera actions and their properties, i know already this page it list all actions but not their properties (like "Browser Menu Bar" for "Show popup menu"), is their any official page from opera itself about all that ?
2: Congratulation for your blog's new look

ctrl+m popup context menu for me (even with opera standard shortcuts), i mean by opera actions those commands for buttons, shortcuts and gestures (like "Go to page", "Minimize page", "Show popup menu" you just mentioned), ok i find the long list from http://operawiki.info/AllActions , but some of them have specific properties (like "bookmarks","contacts","mail" for "manage" action; or like "Browser Menu Bar" for "Show popup menu"), operawiki article doesn't list possible properties for each actionTamil # Tuesday, July 3, 2007 7:11:09 AM
