I checked. Have Author Mode checked. Been having trouble with the look of my text recently. Don't know how it got messed up, but I finally fixed it by setting both my monitor to Auto adjust, and my Nvidia graphics card to default settings. Everything is now back to normal, thank goodness. Nearly ruined my eyes before I discovered the fix.

hey Tamil, how can i make a post from way back, be shown now, other than to just copy/paste it into a brand new post? any ideas?

Mad Scientistqlue Tuesday, December 15, 2009 5:57:11 PM

@Kimberly, Try 'flashing' it by making it private and then making it public again. It should show up as a new blog post to everyone who's subscribed to your blog up.

After getting an alert for new mail, sound and sys tray, I need a quick way to view it. At present all I can think of is Alt+m, then R. Anybody have a neater fix.

Anonymous writes: Hi, can you take a look at http://www.tvguide.com/listings/default.aspx ? If you click a program link, you are supposed to see the program description ( just test using FF ). But somehow, you only see a blank space with no description at all. But if you switch to User Mode, you do see the description, though very ugly. So how to fix in Opera? Happy New Year to everyone!

I think it might be browser sniffing, if I ID as Firefox it works just fine

Anonymous writes: Thanks, yes, it worked as IDed as FF. Didn't think in that direction.

You can contact the site to see if they will stop the browser sniffing

Have opened a mail account to operamail.com, but ithe program will not let me access it due to 'ínsufficient permission' preventying authorisation, or some such nonsense. What to do except forget about Opera? Please send or copy reply to blue_baron@bigfoot.com.

Shouldn't have posted here but couldn't think of way of phrasing the question for a post on the regular forum. Anyway found a button, that sort of does what I want, but would prefer single key shortcut.

Anonymous writes: Thanks, Tamil. But are there any simple css example files? What I need to do essentially is: if a site's charset == A then use font A else use font B that is. I have to admit I am impatient to learn all these big css tutorial without foucs :-)

Tamil Friday, February 5, 2010 5:14:58 PM

AFAIK, it is not possible to apply user CSS based on site charset.
