This morning I awoke and the sun was shining through the trees. Glittering sun bouncing off the leaves making the sky soft, pale the color of faded aquamarines. I have the day ahead of me to sculpt as I will. The long awaited phone call arrived this morning but it lacked any of the lustre of my imagination. Flat, boring, pleading. Nothing like I had imagined. Was it all a flight of fancy? How could I forget that reality starts in the mind. That the quality of it depends on the type of thinking one does. Today I may choose to improve the quality of my thoughts and then the day will wrap itself around me like a feather quilt instead of a hair shirt like it has been for the last week. But still the longing persists. A little voice deep inside that for today I will choose to ignore. It cannot be trusted as I know from experience that it will lead me away from myself. Instead, there is a yet deeper voice that calls me home and that is the one I must attune my ear to. What a beautiful morning so full of promise......

Are you a beautymaster? Everyone is. Welcome! I look forward to meeting you. Throughout history beautymasters have influenced art, architecture, fashion, religion, landscaping and every other aspect of our lives. Each of us is a beautymaster given our lives to master and create beauty with. Our lives are our masterpieces. Each test that life brings to us calls on our higher selves to solve it with qualities inherent with beauty. Our hearts are the labratory where we engage in the often messy, hard, sweaty, job of sculpting the necessary beauty to pass yet one more test. Beautiful souls that I meet inspire me to higher standards of beauty and I am hoping that this blog can be a place of inspiration where we can share the secrets of mastering beauty and becoming true beautymasters.
In this little place in cyberspace, I would like to share some of my art with you. My music, poetry, stories, my work and thoughts that rattle around my brain from time to time. I invite you to share your beauty too. I look forward to it.
