(WARNING - TAGLINE contains scenes of drug taking, bad language and moderate violance)

Wolf and Water Presents - TAGLINE - With an original soundtrack featuring underground UK hip-hop artists, break dancing and spectacular graffiti art, the film is modern Romeo & Juliet story set in the Bay. Blest & Leah belong to rival gangs of Graffiti Artists, they meet at a Break-dance gig & their forbidden love sends ructions through their gangs. When the memorial to Blest's brother, a legend of a Graff Artist, is defaced he jumps to the wrong conclusion & sets in motion a series of events in which "all are punished".

The Film had it's Film Premiere on Friday 27th September on Torbay and was a fantastic success.

Over 70 people turned out to watch the film on the big screen and to see the cast arrive by stretched Limo and walk up the red carpet.

Status Report

I haven't written anything in my blog for 2 MONTHS. I cna't believe it!!! 2 months!!!! It's been a very busy time. I'm working freelance now and NOT FOR THE UNI ;-) The TAG-LINE Movie is coming along just fine. We did a 3 week shoot and I'm now into week 6 of a 4 week edit (it is a feature film after all) I've been teaching web design at a local Media Centre. That was fun. I used to teach loads of different digital subjects there many years ago. I gave it up to work at the Uni.

I've finished the taught sessions for the teacher training course I've been attending. I've got about a month to finish the last 2 assignments.

We have had some of the hottest weather I've seen in ages, or yonks as we used to say when I was a kid growing up in Nottingham. AND NOW!!! it's nothing but the worst rain that I've seen in YONKS!! Waht's going on.

I'm going to a wedding tomorrow. Should be great fun ;-)

This video is the last minute of the Exeter City v's Cambridge United match at Wembley on 18th May 2008.

Exeter won 1-0. A fantastic match and one that entitles City to move up to League Two.

I took some photo's too.

The short Youtube video in this blogg has been watched over 2,000 times. I find this quite remarkable!!

This week I have been cutting together a s short movie about some young people in Exwick (near Exeter). Exwick is one of those areas that has a 'Section 30' dispersal order put on it!! See this if you want to know more about it.

Buena Vista Social Club

Tonight I had the great fortune of going to see the Buena Vista Social Club

It was a 2 hour non stop gig at the Pavilions in Plymouth. There must have been a thousand+ people in the audience. They played some of the coolest Samba on the planet :-) What more can I say but amazing.

Thought I'd add these images. I think my blog is turning into a kind of digital scrap book!

I think that's OK.

Last night I listened to the Perter Harris Experience on Phonic FM. Their's a lot to write about / mention about this show and indeded Mr Haris himself. I'm going to do this article im small stages. If you ever want to listen to the Peter Harris Experiene it is on on Tuesday's at 10pm ('till midnight) UK time (GMT) (+ 1 hour at the moment because we are on British Summer Time). If you go to the Phonic FM website you will see a link to 'listen'. I've been working on a little project for 'The Peter Harris Exprience' and the project is a Myspace page for the show. You can see it HERE. I was given some clear easy design direct. It went something like this. "I like, black, white, blue & grey. And BLEAK !!!" I hope/think I filled /met all the criteria!

Please feel free to check out the Myspace page for the show. I'll be posting a listen again type service for past shows. The Peter Harris Experience has a massive fan base and I'm sure everyone will be happy, indeed , very excited at the idea of having the ability to listen to past show whenever they like. Cup winners of the 1950's

1951, football, 1950, blanchards bakery ...

My sister sent me a Newspaper (from the old country) today. Their's a n arcticle in their entitled 'Memory Lane - Cup winners of the 1950's. In the article ois a photograph fo the Blanchards Bakery football team (of 1950/1 sesson). We (my family) used to live next door to the Bakery. Yes, really, RIGHT NEXT DOOR. This place is HUGE!!! There used to be 2 houses next to the Bakery. I have loads of memories of living there. We left when I was about 5 years old.

ANYWAY, This photograPH is of the Cup Wuinning Team of 1950/1.

My Dad was a Baker at the Bakery and he is in the fphoto.

I know acouple of the other players/bakers!!

On the back row 1st left is Dennis Taylor. I went to school with his daughter Julie and I was best man and her 1st wedding.
I also know Bernard Wood (he's ythe one holding the Winners Cup. He is the person that sent the photo to ythe newspaper. Nice one Bernard :-)

I'm sure I'll write some entries about the Bakery. I t had a massive infuence on my life. It's still making bread etc and some of my family still work there! (As I did in the 1980's)

I was just thinking!>? I think my Dad is about 23yrs old in this picture that would make him about 80yrs old if he was still alive. Well my thought was - Bernard (who sent the photo to thw newsopaer - holding the Cup) must be the same age'ish. I wondered what his motivation was to send in the photo. Out odf all the thing (photo's etc) he mus t have , he would send this THIS fphoto!! Makes you think??

Oh and my Dad's name was Frank. That makes the Frank artcile even funnier.

i stunmbled across this video and had to include it in this blog. I saw Fear and Loath ing in Las Vagas about 2 years ago for the first time. My friend Mick is a massive FAN of Hunter S. Thompson and his (mick's) enthusiasm rubbed off on me and I became a fan too.

I noticed with the above clip that sometime the lipsync is a little out. If this happens to you just press the play button to stop the video & then press play and it should be back in sync ;-)
