After yesterday's brief recap with what was going on in my life, the idea of becoming a full time writer became an unquenchable thirst. One must admit that we face challenges far beyond our comprehension. We can only hope that we get out of this mess alive and unharmed. I recall a certain someone who told me that "no man is an island" and it only sank now to my mind. I am not alone.
I sometimes heard that evil triumph when good people do nothing. When I looked at it, we are either good or evil. And there is this other thing about "if you can't beat them, join them" Now, I wonder if we have joined forces with evil or we are too scared to fight? Or is it we are really planning on doing nothing?
One thing I have learnt so far recently, is that we need GOD in our lives. And by GOD I mean the higher power we always rely on when we are in need; that proactive presence we cannot explain which is beyond our understanding.
Have recently spent quality time with a friend of mine(I must confess: she is still good looking after all these years and I kinda had a secret crush on her) and really learnt a lot from her. Believe me, I don't want to change anything about my life- I had it easy. When she told me of what went on in her life, I knew GOD made some choices compulsory for me. She is strong and I must admit she handled some situations differently compared to what I might have done. Certainly, I really don't deserve her.
I know I'm not alone in this: the girl of my dreams is certainly not what I wanted.
Things happen for a reason. Sometimes it is for your own good!!!
