Keep it simple

I'm this type of person, for one when I'm happy- everyone sees it. The same applies to when I'm sad or angry. What the generation before me has done is completely unacceptable according to me. I can't pretend to be stupid!

Life is too short. And I totally disagree with double standards. Can't waste my time acting as if I'm stupid, and worst of all, in front of someone from a different race!!!

This older collegue of mine, George, asked me not to show senior staff member that I'm smart. We argued about that! I believe first impressions last. However, I didn't take his advice. But at least I was true to myself.

Most of my friends are not from my race. And they say I'm different but I don't think so. I choose to speak my mind, they choose to keep quiet.

I understand why people from other races or countries think we(Africans) are stupid. We know it's a lie! But still keep quite and grin. Like being African is something to be ashamed of!

I totally disagree!!! My heritage, my identity, I will never forsake even for the whole world. As captain of my ship, there are two options. 1. Shape up or 2. Ship out. Very simple.
