there is a better one for the wii called the Wiikey
there is to many wires for the set up why pay $60
when you can make one for 10 bucks (if you know how to make a rom programmer)

I am going to wait to see how it works with others ps3 first. If there is not a lot of problems, I am sooo going to do it!!

your 90 days been up bro
If you have not had a problem
then you wont
lightsidemewtow
has a wiip he said there is no problems
plus you need a duel-layer dvd burnner
to read and write GC/Wii games
I'm calling all around town to get a Spider's brain(A microprocessor programmer)So I can make and sell my own mod chips yikes
geek squad will teach me but at a high cost and
it won't work with Usb 2.0 it would be throw a S.port
and since I'm in Xp home Sp3 I don't have the tools to run
the program to flash the chips super fast.(time is money!!!$$$$$)
plus you need to look here
http://www.openwii.org/wiki/Building_an_Atmega8L_OpenChip
that will be the info I'm using to mod my wii
This weekend(ha ha ha ha
also the home brew web page

Have fun
(I want the thrill of doing this all by hand)

Actually, the warranty is for 12 months!! You get an extra 90 days added on if you register the Wii...which I did, so I think it is either up or just about up....wait, it's up mid September....

Read here if you want.... http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/manuals/warrantyinfo.jsp

Nintendo systems carry a standard twelve-month warranty, which is one of the longest standard warranties in the video game industry. (The warranty for the Wii console can be extended an extra 90 days by registering it online. Click here for more information.) Games and accessories sold separately carry a three month warranty. The warranty covers any manufacturing or workmanship defects and these will be repaired at no charge."

I did have a problem, and it was like 4-5 months after I had my wii. The DVD drive was making very loud noises...they replace it (the drive that is) for free of course!! lol

Yeah, I have seen the hombrew sites, but I want to do it by chip. It is easier!!! The soft mod keeps getting fixed by Tendo updates...that is why I have not done it yet. Have not been to hackawii.com yet though. Will check it out tonight!!

If you get your own chips working, LET ME KNOW!!!yes
