Numbers 14:26-38 – Death sentence on the Rebels
God speaks to Moses and tells him that he has heard complaints from the evil congregation that was numbered and went to investigate the good and Promised Land, 20 years and old, they shall fall in the wilderness – they shall be consumed and they shall die in the wilderness (Numbers 13:26-29,34,35).
God punished the evil congregation one year for each day that they walked in the good and Promised Land, bearing the guilt of complaining and gathering against God.
Numbers 15:1-21 – HERD OF THE FLOCK
Laws of Grain and Drink Offering Numbers 15:2-16; 18-31; 35-41
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,
3And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the LORD, of the herd or of the flock:
4Then shall he that offereth his offering unto the LORD bring a meat offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of oil.
5And the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.
6Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meat offering two tenth deals of flour mingled with the third part of an hin of oil.
7And for a drink offering thou shalt offer the third part of an hin of wine, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
8And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the LORD:
9Then shall he bring with a bullock a meat offering of three tenth deals of flour mingled with half an hin of oil.
10And thou shalt bring for a drink offering half an hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
11Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid.
12According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.
13All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
14And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.
15One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.
16One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.
17And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
18Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,
19Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD.
20Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it.
21Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD an heave offering in your generations.
22And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,
23Even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;
24Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
25And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their ignorance:
26And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.
27And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.
28And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
29Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
30But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
31Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.
God says that when you go onto the Promise Land that he giving you, your offerings that are made by fire to Jehovah, the LORD Thy God will be either a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a vow or the offering by fire will be a freewill offering or from your appointed feasts. The offering by fire will make a sweet aroma to the LORD Thy God, Jehovah (Numbers 15:1-5)
The offering shall be accompanied by the grain offering, drink offering or a ram with a drink offering (Numbers 15:5, 6).
God gives the ordinance for the preparation for the offering by the fire that you shall bring a grain offering; a drink offering a burnt offering; a sacrifice to fulfill a vow; a peace offering shall be done for each young bull, ram; or a each lamb or young goat (Numbers 15:3-12).
I made a vow to the Lord; I promised him I would go every step of the way. I made a vow to the LORD.
The manner of the offering made by fire shall be by the native-born, this way he shall be pleasing to God. The offering made by fire shall be a sweet aroma to Jehovah. The stranger that is among you that is presents an offering shall be made by fire (Numbers 15:1-13, 14).
There is one law and one custom, that shall be for you ad and the stranger (Numbers 15:16). So when you meet a person that practices another religion, another science, another law, then you shall bring them into remembrance that this is the law, ,that give you delight and the law is perfect (Numbers 15:16,17; Exodus 12:49). This is the perfect law, the truth, there is no other truth – this is the highest.
As Moses prepared the hyssop and dipped it in the blood that was in the basin, and stroke each lintel and door post. So was Christ struck for our (false) beliefs, our illnesses and sicknesses; lack of prosperity; diseases; and he is our healing or lack of thereof of our wants and not needs.
Chapter 15, ends much like Parsha Shemini, God tells us He is Our God. God tells us He brought us out of Egypt.
Next God speaks to Moses and commanded him to say to the people that God has brought you into the Promised Land. I have brought you out of Egypt and you shall eat the bread of the land offer up a heave offering unto the LORD Thy God. The heave offering shall come from your threshing floor, which for King David is in Jerusalem (See Parsha Terumah, for the Heave Offering; 1 Kings 5:26 through 1st Kings 6:13; Exodus 25-27:19).
The errors committed without the knowledge of the congregation with all the knowledge that Moses has commanded that the LORD Your God has spoken, and then you shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering that is a “sweet savour unto the LORD Thy God.” By following the law of the burnt offerings 1) you shall give up the first fruits of dough, or fruits; 2) from your threshing floor (the storage of plenty); 3) releasing a tithe of something that is important to you. The aroma can be an indication that the burnt offering is acceptable to God – in a world where humans were often sacrificed.
The priest shall make atonement for the error of ignorance in your failure to observe the commandments spoken to Moses from Jehovah, the LORD Your God, with the offerings to meat; drink; and kid of goats for a sin offering. This is the early church and here is a perfect example of thy brother’s keeper (Numbers 15:22-26). Today we can be sure of our atonement when our book is written in the book of the Lamb, during Moses day the first covenant without grace, love and with law was called the book of Life.
Lastly, this chapter explains that Parsha Bechukota gives the commandment that the individual, the congregation and the sojourner shall have one law. However, in America the Canaanites corrupted the Christian Movement, and asserted privilege, racism, and the stolen legacy of 90 million stolen slaves from the Mother Country, because of literal and spiritual lack of understanding, of the truth, the word of God as it pertains to genocide, not limited to slavery; which caused disease, double poverty and homelessness, death and sickness that takes a backseat to international politics every day. Today there are at least two Christian Aryan Movements: Jehovah Witnesses’ and The Mormons. Let’s face it the Hebrew Bible was written in Hebrew. Jesus is Jewish. Basically once the Pharonic Dynasty fell, catastrophe set in for many nationalities that would one day regret calling America, home; some can never go back because their legacy is lost; and the resources have been stolen. As a lost group of Americans, may at anytime polarize the economic spectrum from happiness to hunger, heartache, hard times from unreasonable incarcerations’ and the death penalty; and institutionalization. There is not a prescription that can be filled for the adaption of society and it shouldn’t have to be. All I got to do is be Black and die. At night, when I wondered about my ancestors, I would say that they were substance that caused the fossils to turn into oil and makes gold illuminate.
It is important that you get a proper Christian education, and in any religion that you study, you should know that only the Spirit of God gives you true wisdom and knowledge, which you should desire more than gold or silver. Don’t let man teach you his faith because he will cause you to error every time and when you fail a test by testing God; rebelling and complaining against God which our most recent Memorial Portions have illustrated in the month of June 2011 and July 2011, then you will know that you have hurt others and may have prevented yourself from entering into eternal life.
So I say to you, it’s not too late to prepare yourself for the eternal glory of God, be sure that before you enter a sanctuary, a physical entity that you shall inquire into the politics, there will always be a Judas spirit hanging around waiting to hate, cheat, steal, envy, and deceive – you must be courageous and have the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Don’t cause strife by inquiring into the politics, asking about how you feel about genocide, racism and the America’s dirty pass with the slavery issue – these are smart questions and very necessary prior to the 1970’s. Just make sure that you are full of the spirit of gifts like special faith and that you are there to listen. In addition, don’t worry about people that don’t like the way you look be sure that you don’t feed into stereotypes and violence, let them continue to think what they want to think about you, but you should just make sure that nothing gets in the way of serving God, and hearing the good message that the speaker has taken his time to prepare for you, so that you can be a good hear and a doer (Numbers 15:22-29). After that a man was gathering sticks, and he was brought to Moses etc. They put the stick gatherer in a ward, on the Sabbath day (Numbers 15:30-34). God said,

In closing the chapters of twelve and fourteen in the book of Deuteronomy, 14, I just wanted to emphasize the tithes are to be put aside for kingdom building, at the time the tithes could have been used for the third temple. Now the tithes are solely or should solely be used for the church of God, that stands aright now on earth. Jesus said that the foundation of the church, a place of worship and studying shall be built on the knowledge of the kingdom of God. Matthew 16:13When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 20Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. 21From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Jesus knew that it is not only important to protect your home, but also you should protect the church, which is inside you, so there is no need to go to a building. I hope some of you go to church every Sunday to spend time fellowshipping with the saints, the believers and the chosen and called of Jesus, who died for your sins, the church. He could have lived a life by forgetting about you and I but early in the chapter he confronted the ruling council and taught the law of Moses in it's true and pure form. Through his accomplishment on the cross, which is the crux of his unity with God, the firstborn of the dead and the resurrection, he gave you grace.
Justification is a work of grace for the servant of God is manifested unto Christ, your salvation. No matter what competing elements of a belief system that you have, your faith should always stand on the final authority of God's word, the absolute truth which is more than facts - and rests in Jesus, the truth. The Bible is God's law (His fullness) and the highest authority can give you an idea of a path to an eternal destiny; because you were made to live forever. God can ot look on sin. Therefore you shall not hold to someone elses theology, doctrine or tradition but the saving grace (the favor) of God, that will measure judgement in the church in this last day (Matthew 24:36-51; Epheisans 3:18-19 and Exodus 19:3-6). In closing, I am not concerned about you stealing the cross because it does not stop the Gospel from going to the Nations, from Jerusalem, just like that.... This post is encouraged to multiply disciples, preaching throughout the world. Surely Jesus will be with you to the end of time - to testify and to save. Cheer up, it's going to be rough as soon as you start to believe. God wants you to be different than the others that do not believe there is one God and He is sovereign, there is one place for worship, and that is Jerusalem. Therefore don't take anywords or add anywords to this perfect law of the LORD Thy God. (Deuteronomy 12:32 and Revelations 22:18-19).

Exodus 33
Commentary of the Chapter 33 of the book of Exodus:
In the previous chapter, we learn that the people fall and sin before God, because the people choose to build a golden calf. Moses took the claf and the tables and broke them beneath the mount; because the people were sinning such as dancing naked to the shame of their enemies. Moses made the people drink powdered water, which came from the burnt ashes of the golden calf that he hand destroyed in a rage of fit and anger. Moses gathered all the Levites from his Tribe. Then, Moses told the people what God said to do, and there was a great smoting of men that day, three thousand men fell because they worshipped a god and danced naked to the same of their enemies. Moses said, "The god of Israel said, "Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout this camp and execute the people such as a man's brother, companion and neighbor etc." Moses, asked the people who is on the LORD's side? The people that were on the LORD's side went with Moses. However, Joshua remained in the tent of Moses, the entire time that God is speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai - and he receives the first set of tablets, two tablets of the Ten Commandments. Moses asked the people to conscentrate theirselves upon their brother and receive a blessing. Lastly, Moses returned to THE LORD and asked that his name be blotted out of the book, of Life. God responded that his name would not be removed from the book.
Meanwhile the pillar cloudy stood over the tabernacle door; and then all the people worshipped at their tent door. God visited the children of Israle and had looked upon their affliction. Moses prayed to God and asked Him to give him grace, and to let him know who He would send with him, and consider His people as a (sovereign) nation. He (God) quickly replies and says, "My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest." Moses wants to absolutely be sure that God will be with him more than just an early morning walk where there is an occassionally jacking. He know he needs the divine intervention of God to move pass Pharaoh and his servants, in Egypt. Moses knows this is going to be a battle to occupy and possess the land of Canaan, that shall be given as an inheritance to Israel.
In this chapter, the annointing continues, and the word of God is, "1And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:
2And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: 3Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way."
In Chapter Thirty-three of the Book of Exodus, the people also heard the word of God and put away their ornaments while they were at the foot of Mount Horeb. Moses took the tabernacle and pitched it outside from the camp. However, the people that sought the LORD made the effort to travel to the tent. The people would stand and watch Moses until he went into the tabernacle, as a cloudy pillar had descended and stood at the door, the LORD traveled to the tent, called the Tabernacle of the congregation. The LORD talked with Moses faced to face like a good friend.
Next, Moses continues to ask God many questions to be assured that God is still determined go with him and His people. The word of God speaks unto Moses saying, "I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name." Therefore, Moses prayed to God that if he had found grace in the sight of the LORD, that he show him His way and His will. Moses then asked God if he had found grace in the sight of the LORD, that his people may be considered a nation, that is sovereign. Moses also said, that he wants God to show him God's glory. God responds that he will hasten to perform His word, by saying, "I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen."
In this chapter Moses also petitions God saying, "The covenant shall be known here, that I and your people have found grace in sight." At the moment, maybe Moses did not feel that his people could go up with the LORD's help, or right hand. Moses said that the people and he shall be separate from all the people that are upon the face of the earth (Exodus 33:17). Lastly, Moses asked God to show him the glory of God. God responded to Moses saying, "I will make all my goodness pass before thee. I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will show mercy" (Exodus 33:19).
Exodus 33: The Command to leave Mount Sinai (The Mountain of God)
1And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:

6And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.
7And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.
8And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
9And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.
10And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
11And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
12And Moses said unto the LORD, "See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
13Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people."

18And he said, "I beseech thee, shew me thy glory."

Commentary on Exodus 34:
In this chapter, Moses creates another tablet; because he broke the first tablet with the Ten commandments. Then Moses went up to Mount Sinai, as God had commanded him with the new tablets - that he had broken in his fit of rage against the sinners.
The the LORD descended into the cloud and stood with Moses the LORD and hasten to perform His word, he proclaimed the name of the LORD (Exodus 34:6-7) .
6And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
7Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. (Exodus 32:19 and Exodus 33:19; and Exodus 34:6-7, King James Version)
Like the LORD, Moses hastened to make obescience to the LORD, to worship with his head bowed down toward the earth. Then Moses asked God to go amongs the sitff-necked people, and asked God to pardon the iniquity and sin, and take the people as an inheritance. God agreed and made a covenant, and the requirements consist of observing all the commandments.
In Capter 35, Moses has come down from the mountain for forty days and forty nights. The children of Israel are at the foot of the mountain waiting for Moses to come down and tell them all that the LORD has commanded of them through Moses. God writes on the tablet, the ten words of the Ten Commandments, called the Ten Commandments.
In closing this chapter, let us remember that after Moses would behond the glory of God,he would wear a veil. Moses placed a veil on his face whenever he had spoken with the children of Israel. However, Moses would take jos veil off of his face, until he would leave from Mt. Sinai before the presence of God. Then Moses, he would place the veiol on his face and speak with the children of Israel, regarding the commandments of the LORD. Yet the veil kept everyone from being afraid to see the skin on Moses face; and he would simultaneously speak with God (Exodus 34:29-35).

Jesus said that the disciples are the salt and light of the earth (Matthew 5:13-20).
Salt and Light
13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
The Fulfillment of the Law

Exodus 9: The LORD visits the Egyptians with the plagues.
The word of God visits the iniquity of the Egyptians with the fifth, sixth and seventh plague. At this point, the hand of the LORD strikes the cattle of the Egyptians that are in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the oxen and on the sheep. A very severe pestilence is plagues the livestock of the Egyptians.
The King of Egypt refuses to allow the Israelites to go, and he still holds them. The LORD fulfills His Word, and at the appointed set time, that He would do what He said he would do, the LORD made a difference between the children of the Israel - in the land of Egypt, and none of their livestock were plagued or dead. But if the heart of Pharoah continued to be hard then he will not let the people go to serve their LORD God.
Many times we are on the right path to serving God and studying the word of His Son, Jesus, the Messiah of the Jewish people. His name is the highest name, and no other god can demand this praise to glorify the Father, because you have seen the Son, the first fruit of the children of Israel, the sons of God.
In verses, eight through twelve, Moses does as God directs him takes a handful of ashes, that is normally consecrated to the LORD God, during a burnt sacrifice, instead the ashes are sanctified before the presence of God and scattered toward the heavens in the sight of Pharaoh. The ashes become like fine dust and cause boils that break out in sores on man and beast, even the magicians, throughout the land of Egypt. However, the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils for the boils were on the magicians too.
In verses, thirteen through thirty five, Moses continues to hear a word from the LORD, and pleads on behalf of the Israelites, the sons of God, to let His people Go, that they may serve Him. If Pharoah continues to harden his heart as he did so with the first five plagues, more will surely come to the very heart of you, your servants and on your people - that you have never met; because God alone had raised the Pharaoh up to magnificence and the people would know that there is none like Him in all the earth (v. 16). God did not stretch out His hand to strike the people with pestilence because they would have been cut off from the earth:

Then the people who fear the word of God that are among the servants of Pharoah fleed to their houses; but the people who did not fear the word of God left their servants and live stock in the filed. Moses did as the word of commanded him and stretched out his hand and embraced his rod toward heaven; and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and fire darted to the ground and there was hail on the land of Egypt, (v.23), but the wheat and the spelt survived the plague. "24So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
25And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field. 26Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail. 27And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. 28Intreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer (Exodus 9:24-28)."
So Moses did as Pharoah had commanded, and as soon as he left the city and spreaded out his hands to the LORD the hail would stop, when he would leave the city. He also knew that the servants of Pharoah would not fear the LORD God, and that his magicians were not the Lord of the earth and could only make a curse worst, they had no ability to heal; which is the gospel. After the LORD stopped the rain, the hail, and the thunder then Pharoah sinned again; and he hardened his heart and so did his servants because they wanted the sons of God to serve them, as if they were a god or lord of Lords. But the Egyptians did not have a word to heal their land or the earth.
Maybe today you are in physical slavery and bondage or a slave to sin. You might be in bondage to sickness, disease, famine, poverty, desolation, destruction, war, and anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, the sword. The enemy is not your friend. He will slay you with a physical sword. The word of God says, 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:17-18)

18By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
19For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

14Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. 15Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. 16And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.
17Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.
18If I go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not.
19Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!
20We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.
21Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.
22Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.
